Chapter Sixty: Red

Chapter Sixty: Red

"The palaces should be serving their meals by now. Let's take them away while no one is looking."

Yuan Siyin waved her hand, and the two guards once again came into play.

Yuan Fuqing originally wanted to go along, but was caught off guard and was flicked hard on the forehead by Yuan Siyin.

Have you finished reading your book for today?

"You've finished reading!"

Yuan Fu had made preparations early in the morning.

"You're not going to the private school anymore?"

"These two days are a rest day!"

Yuan Si choked up.

"Aren't your aunt going to stay either?"

"Aqing wants to be with her sister now!"

Now my sister is only thinking about how to protect the Seventh Prince, and she spends less time with him!

His position is in grave danger!

Yuan Fuqing, feeling a strong sense of crisis, gripped her sleeve and, thinking he was out of Yuan Siyin's sight, stuck out his tongue and made a face at Yu Shiyan.

Yuan Siyin took in his little actions and couldn't help but chuckle. She didn't expose him, but simply reached out and ruffled his hair: "Alright, then you can come along."

After that lesson she learned last time, she knew that her younger brother had no bad intentions; he just subconsciously relied on her like a fledgling bird.

Therefore, she could understand his actions; it wasn't anything serious.

Yu Shiyan watched quietly as the two shared an unspoken intimacy, his eyes filled with deep emotions.

The group returned to Changbai Palace in a grand procession. Fortunately, it was noon and everyone was busy, so they were able to carry people openly. Otherwise, the rumors would have already spread throughout half of the palace by now.

"I'm going out for a bit. Could you keep an eye on him for me while I'm inside? Ziyuan will bring some ginger soup later."

Yuan Siyin waved her hand, leaving Yuan Fuqing and Yu Shiyan inside, and went back to the red bean tree to look at it.

Such tall and lush red bean trees are truly rare. Moving them out of the palace in just two days would be an impossible task, not to mention the survival rate cannot be guaranteed. It won't work.

She pinched her chin, her expression grave, and the situation inside the room was clearly no better.

Bai Tu helped Yu Shiyan lie down and took out several winter quilts from a cabinet in the side hall next door, layering them on top of each other until Yu Shiyan couldn't sit up.

"There is no charcoal available right now, Your Highness, please bear with it and sweat it out."

Bai Tu, expressionless, tucked his hands behind his back, curtsied to the two of them, and then left.

Yuan Fuqing and Yu Shiyan stared at each other, speechless for a moment, an awkward atmosphere filling the air.

Perhaps because he had caught a chill, Yu Shiyan's throat felt a little itchy, so he turned his head away and coughed softly.

Seeing this, Yuan Fuqing turned around and poured him a cup of tea, then helped him up and fed him a couple of sips.

Thank you.

"No need to thank me, it's all because of my older sister!"

Yuan Fuqing blushed, seemingly a little embarrassed, and turned his head away, stubbornly insisting.

"Um... I'm sorry."

Yu Shiyan didn't expect him to apologize so suddenly, and pursed his lips without reacting.

"Actually, I didn't mean to bully you before, but you were clearly in the wrong first!"

The person who pushed you before was clearly not your older sister, but you insisted on saying it was.

"What's the meaning?"

At his prompting, Yu Shiyan suddenly remembered—it was true, but he had forgotten the details himself.

Yuan Fuqing was a little angry, but then he suddenly remembered that he had lost his memory, so he could only patiently explain to him.

"...So, it wasn't her who pushed me? Then who was it?"

"Your older sister saved you, but you woke up and turned around and blamed her!"

Who pushed you? God knows.

Yuan Fuqing crossed his arms in front of his chest, muttering under his breath.

"My sister clearly doesn't like red clothes."
