After a busy day, the young couple washed up and went straight to bed. They slept soundly through the night. This morning, just as Huo Haocheng got up, Ruan Ruan woke up.
"What time is it? Why are you still home today?" Ruan Ruan usually doesn't see Huo Haocheng when she wakes up, but today she woke up and found him still at home.

After Huo Haocheng left, Ruan Ruan first went next door to find Wang Xia.
"Sister Xia, are you there?" Ruan Ruan called softly from outside the courtyard gate. She had two children at home, and they might not be awake yet. She was afraid that if she called too loudly, she would wake them up.
"I'm here, come in." Wang Xia heard Ruan Ruan's cat-like voice and roughly knew that she was afraid of waking the child. However, Xingxing was already awake, and she still needed to dress her, so she couldn't go out to greet her. She could only let her come in first.
"Sister Xia, I'm coming in!" Ruan Ruan heard Wang Xia's voice coming from the back room and knew that she was probably taking care of the child. After saying that, she went in.
Just as she entered the living room, Wang Xia came out carrying a sleepy-eyed Xingxing.
"Wow, little star, good morning!" Ruan Ruan felt that seeing such a cute child first thing in the morning was a really happy thing.

"It's nothing, I just came to ask, sis, do you want to go mushroom picking? I heard there are lots of mushrooms on the mountains of Yuncheng after it rains, so I came to ask if you want to go." Back home, Ruan Ruan heated up the leftover pork rib soup from last night, then cooked a bowl of noodles with a few greens. A hearty bowl of pork rib and vegetable noodle soup was ready—simple yet nutritious. After eating, she slung her basket over her shoulder, picked up a small shovel, and headed out. She called out to Wang Xia as she passed her house, and upon hearing her return, continued on her way to Teacher Shen's house. When she arrived, the mother and son were also eating.
"Xiaoming, is your aunt home?" As soon as they arrived at the gate of the courtyard, they saw Gu Jingming sitting on a stool, with a steamed bun in one hand and porridge in the other.
"Sis, you're here! Mom's home. Have you eaten yet?" Gu Jingming was quite surprised to see Ruan Ruan arrive so early, but when he heard her looking for his mother, he called out into the house, "Mom, my sister's here. She's looking for you."
