The little girl, who had left Huo Haocheng's embrace, tossed and turned all night. She was very tired, but just couldn't fall asleep. Ruan Ruan lay on the bed, counting the roof tiles and sighing, "Sigh, habits really do have a bad influence."

He could get straight to the point without exchanging greetings.
“Uncle, I just wanted to call Secretary Lan. When Haocheng left yesterday, he repeatedly told me to promise that I would not go out during his absence unless there were special circumstances. As you know, Uncle Kun and Uncle Du just arrived, and I can't go out. So, I thought I'd call Brother Chaolin. Anyway, he'll be handling the charity matters, so I asked him to go over to the building when he's not busy and get to know you and the others.”
Ruan Ruan tends to think things through simply, so after making her promise to Huo Haocheng, she didn't think about going out. She just wanted to give them an explanation and let them know her current situation. She had already told them about the project plan, so they could just do the preliminary work first, and it wouldn't have any impact.
"Alright, the phone is here, you can make the call yourself." Commander Gu also knew that it was not safe for her to go out now without anyone with her. Moreover, the two heads of the organization had arrived, and they couldn't just sit around waiting without doing anything. Ruan Ruan's idea was good; with Lan Chaolin leading the way, communication and operations would be easier.
Upon receiving the call, Ruan Ruan immediately dialed Lan Chaolin's office.
"Ring, ring, ring..." The phone rang for a long time, but no one answered. The person was probably busy.
"What, no one answered?" Commander Gu asked as she put down the phone.
"Hmm, he's probably busy right now. It's okay, call him back later." They were quite relaxed about him not answering the phone. He was the mayor's secretary, and he was busy all the time. He wouldn't be sitting in his office waiting for the phone to be answered all the time.

"It's nothing, just go about your business. We can manage things here." After saying that, Commander Gu buried himself in writing again.
Seeing this, Ruan Ruan shut up. She always knew her limits. If they didn't need her help, then they really didn't need it. She was a little sleepy at the moment, so she lay on the table and tapped her four fingers rhythmically on the surface.
About half an hour later, Secretary Lan called her back.
"Hello, this is Lan Chaolin. Did you call me half an hour ago?" Having just returned to his office after accompanying the mayor to a meeting, Lan Chaolin noticed a missed call on his phone. The number seemed familiar, so he called it back.
"Brother Chaolin, it's me, Ruan Ruan. I was the one who called you just now." As soon as she heard the phone ring, Ruan Ruan immediately picked it up.
"Ruan Ruan, is there anything I can help you with?" Lan Chaolin is so busy right now that he hasn't finished dealing with Ruan Ruan's charity organization yet.
"Brother Chaolin, what's wrong? You sound very uncomfortable." Through Ruan Ruan's receiver, Lan Chaolin's voice sounded hoarse and weak.
"I'm fine. It's just that a group of people were suddenly arrested the night before last. Many of them held official positions, so we were discussing yesterday and today which people could be promoted to fill these vacancies." This sudden arrest really caught them off guard. The vacancies caused by the arrests during the Lunar New Year period had just been filled, and the people below were still in the learning phase. Now this has happened again.
