The two found the person they were looking for in a courtyard house, as instructed by Ruan Shaohong.
This man's name is Liu Gang. His family rents two rooms in a courtyard house. He usually takes on courtyard repair work with his brothers. Huo Haocheng's family hired him for their courtyard repair.
Upon meeting him, Huo Haocheng explained his purpose. With Ruan Shaohong acting as guarantor, Liu Gang readily agreed and arranged to go to the outskirts of the city to look at land together early the next morning.
After the preliminary preparations were completed, Huo Haocheng drove them to the suburbs early the next morning, with Ruan Shaohong and others following behind them.
Upon arriving at the location, Ruan Ruan pointed to several surrounding mountains and said, "These mountains also belong to us. You can use the timber from these mountains if you can. However, there are also some medicinal herbs in the mountains. Once the pharmaceutical factory is built, we will arrange for people to come and collect them. So you must be careful when cutting down trees."
Like Yuncheng, Ruanruan wants to grow medicinal herbs in the mountains. She will also select some people from Yuncheng who are willing to come to the capital to teach the locals how to grow and harvest them.
The cost of living in Beijing is much higher than in Yuncheng, and Ruanruan believes that many people are willing to earn extra money to supplement their household income.

After discussing the mountain, the group began to observe the terrain.
As Ruan Ruan walked, she discussed things with them and then quickly jotted down the key points in her notebook.
Huo Haocheng watched his wife keep talking and looking away, but her pen never stopped. He followed her curiously to see what she was writing down. However, when he saw some strange symbols in the notebook, he could only recognize one or two words, but he couldn't understand the rest at all.
Could this be some kind of script he'd never seen before? Huo Haocheng scratched his head, wondering to himself, but he really didn't think he'd ever seen such a script before.
After surveying the area, they discovered several water outlets. Judging from the flow direction, two of the water sources came from the mountains, while others emerged from the ground. If used properly, these water outlets could be used as drinking water, so they decided to use them to bring water from other places.
To find out the source of the water in the mountains, the group went upstream with the current. Deep in the mountains, they saw a relatively large pool with a small waterfall above it. The water in the pool was very clear, and they could see fish swimming around in it.
We're tired from climbing up here, so we can rest here, catch a couple of fish, and have lunch together.
After Ruan Ruan brought up the idea, everyone thought it was a good idea, and the matter was decided happily.
Zheng Xuyang and Chen Liang went to the pond to catch fish, while Ruan Ruan and Huo Haocheng went to see what else they could eat. It was the season for fruits to ripen, and the two were lucky. They had only been walking for a few minutes when they saw a peach tree. The place was in a remote mountain area, and no one usually came here. The peaches on the tree looked small, but they were all red and looked delicious.
Ruan Ruan glanced at Huo Haocheng, who consciously went over and picked a peach, wiped the fuzzy peach on the corner of his clothes, and then took a bite. Ruan Ruan kept observing his expression and saw that he really seemed to enjoy it, so she felt relieved and went over to pick some herself.
"Have a bite too," Huo Haocheng said, placing the peach in his hand near Ruan Ruan's lips so she could take a bite. They were exhausted from climbing all the way up, and all the men had gone to the pool to drink some water. Only Ruan Ruan thought there were fish in the water, and she didn't know how many animals had bathed or drunk from it, so she didn't drink any water at all.
She was thirsty too, but it was her own fault for forgetting to take the water bottle that Huo Haocheng had prepared for her.
Before leaving, Huo Haocheng filled Ruan Ruan's water bottle with water, then handed it to her and went outside to wait in the car while he went to the restroom. However, the moment Ruan Ruan took the water bottle, she placed it on the cabinet by the door and went inside to get some money and coupons. She thought that if they acted quickly, they could treat someone to lunch, since they would need to trouble them more in the future. But when she came out, she forgot about the water bottle.
After Huo Haocheng finished using the toilet, he left the yard directly from the kitchen, not wanting to keep them waiting.
Watching Huo Haocheng wipe the fuzz off the peach, Ruan Ruan took a bite from the peach with his hand. Hmm, it looked small, but it was quite juicy and sweet. After taking a bite, Ruan Ruan opened her mouth again and finished the peach with Huo Haocheng's hand.
Afterwards, Huo Haocheng used his military dagger to cut down two banana leaves and put the peaches he had picked inside. After picking the peaches, Ruan Ruan found a few medicinal herbs that could be used as seasonings and also dug up some wild vegetables. When they felt that was enough, the two of them carried the banana leaves back to the group.
When they returned, Zheng Xuyang and the others had already cleaned the fish. Ruan Shaohong and Liu Gang had also caught a rabbit while gathering firewood, which they could roast together.
"Wow, where did you pick so many peaches?" Chen Liang asked curiously, looking at the peaches and wild vegetables on the banana leaves they were carrying back.
