"Okay, that's the arrangement for now," the bureau chief agreed to Huo Haocheng's plan, and seeing that it was already dark, said, "Prepare for action."

"Stop your charlatanry!" The village chief snatched the branch and unleashed a 360-degree flurry of blows into the air. Luckily, 520 dodged quickly, landing on the village chief's shoulder.
The village chief felt something on his shoulder, and with a snap, a branch hit him. The branch continued to bounce around on the village chief, leaving him covered in bruises.
Suddenly, the village chief heard the shouts of the villagers who had just run out. He sensed something was wrong and immediately followed them out. Just after he left, 520 followed him out as well, knowing that Huo Haocheng and the others had entered.
When the village chief came out, he saw that the village was surrounded by soldiers. Villagers were either dead or arrested, and women and children were being held separately by the police.
Realizing his situation was hopeless, the village chief tried to run back and kidnap the girl in the cellar to help him escape. However, 520 behind him knew his intentions and immediately slammed the door shut. Huo Haocheng also shot him in the leg. Two police officers quickly moved in and arrested him.
Hearing the gunshot, the traffickers who were trying to escape, including the dwarf, were caught red-handed by Gu Jinghe.
After confiscating all the sharp weapons from the child and woman, the police took them back to the police station. Huo Haocheng told Gu Jinghe to lead the team back, while he stayed behind to assist with the follow-up.
After a busy night, Huo Haocheng finally dragged his exhausted body and mind back to the army at dawn.
