This kind of plot is so familiar to me. It's how it's written in all the time-travel novels I've read before. Many men are infatuated with the female lead, crazy about her, and would even bang their heads against walls for her. They would do anything for her without asking for anything in return, and seeing her happy is more important than anything else.
Every time Ruan Ruan saw such a scene, she wished she could go up and strangle these bastards.
"So what is Zhang Tao's motive?"
Who knows? Maybe he just likes her because she's cute??
