The next morning, things turned out exactly as Huo Haocheng had expected. For the first time ever, he stayed in bed with her for a while, which lasted for half an hour. So by the time they finished getting ready and had breakfast, it was already past 9 o'clock.
When they drove to the factory to pick up Zheng Xuyang, he had just finished going over the accounts for the month with Lu Shuyan. He knew the couple quite well, and considering what Huo Haocheng had said yesterday, he arrived at the factory around 8 a.m. this morning. After having breakfast with Huo Haoshen and the others at the factory, he looked around the factory gate and, not seeing them, told the gatekeeper that they were looking for him and that he was waiting for them in his office.
So when the two of them finally arrived at the office late, they saw him and Lu Shuyan tidying up the bills they had checked and putting them into a file bag to seal them away.
"They're here." Seeing them arrive, Zheng Xuyang checked his watch. Good, they were 30 minutes late. Not bad.
"Are you done with work?" Ruan Ruan knew that being late was wrong, so even though she was the boss, she was being very careful.
"Okay, let's go then." Since so much time has already been wasted, any questions can be asked on the way. Perfect timing; after finishing his business at the charity, he still needs to go to the materials factory. The weather is nice now, and it's getting quite dark. "What issues are there that Uncle Kun and the others can't make decisions about?"
