Chapter 168 Flowers from Huo Haocheng

Oh, he said, "It's good enough that a woman likes you. I don't dislike you, so I'll just go for it." As soon as he said that, Gu Jinghe was furious and chased after him to fight.

However, Gu Jinghe has one advantage over Ruan Shaohong: he listens to advice and remembers what he is told. Ruan Shaohong, on the other hand, is all talk and no action.

"Don't make it sound so serious. She and I met through a blind date. We both felt we were a good match and got married because we didn't want our work to interfere with each other. We couldn't do what you and Ruan Ruan did!" Ruan Shaohong still remembered the scene when the two first met. They briefly introduced their professions and family situations, and then felt they were a good match, so they got together. So they really couldn't do what you did.

"Regardless of how you got together, you're married now. As a husband, what's wrong with you showing concern for your wife in your free time?"

Hearing his words, Huo Haoshen finally understood the helplessness his grandmother felt when she told him about his situation. Now he didn't want to say anything more to him. He decided to let the man go, knowing that he would be the one to regret it later.

"Fine, just pretend I didn't say anything today. I've had enough of talking to you. Get out of the car." As the two were talking, Huo Haocheng's car had already arrived at the train station. He hadn't seen his wife for a week and he really missed her, so he was willing to spend time coming to wait for her. He wanted her to see him as soon as she came out.

As they were talking, Huo Haocheng slammed the car door shut and headed towards the exit. Ruan Shaohong hadn't expected this man to suddenly get angry, but there was nothing he could do; he couldn't argue with him, so he had no choice but to get off the car with him.

When he walked over, he saw Huo Haocheng picking some wildflowers and weeds in a patch of ruins.

"Why are you picking this?" He stood by the roadside, puzzled.

Hearing his question, Huo Haocheng didn't even glance at him, continuing with what he was doing. After he finished picking all the small flowers around him, he decorated them with some grass and even stuck two foxtail grasses in the middle. After he finished tying the bouquet, he carefully looked at it from all angles and, after he felt that there was no problem, he returned to the exit to wait.

For the rest of the time, Huo Haocheng ignored him, glancing at the flowers in his hand every now and then to see if they had grown well. It wasn't until he heard the announcement that the train from Shen City had arrived that he quickly looked up and looked into the station.

When he saw Huo Songhuai and Wang Qun carrying luggage, one in front of the other and holding Ruan Ruan's hand, slowly walking out with the crowd.

"Third Uncle, Third Aunt, over here!" He took a few steps toward them and called out to them as he was about to reach them.

Ruan Ruan was overjoyed to see Huo Haocheng. She let go of her parents' hands and walked towards him.

"Wife, look, I just picked these, aren't they pretty?" When she got close, Huo Haocheng handed her the flowers he had been protecting. He had been holding them close to his chest and using his hands to shield them from the crowd.

"Beautiful," Ruan Ruan said, taking the small white flowers with a hint of pink and light purple from his hand. They were truly beautiful, along with yellow and green foxtail grass. It was clear that Huo Haocheng had put a lot of care into making this bouquet.

"Third Uncle, Third Aunt, are you tired? Let's go, let's get in the car first." He was happy to see that she liked it, but he didn't forget that there were two elders there, so he got them in the car first.

When he came out with his men, Ruan Shaohong was already waiting by the car. Huo Haocheng had really abandoned him just now, walking inside without saying a word. By the time he realized what had happened, he was already lost in the crowd, so he had no choice but to retreat to the car and wait.

Upon seeing him arrive with his entourage, she immediately stepped forward and took the luggage from Huo Songhuai's hands. "Uncle, Aunt, hello. I am Ruan Ruan's older brother, Ruan Shaohong. I am here on behalf of the Ruan family to pick you up. You must be tired from your journey. Please get in the car first."

He then opened the car door, gesturing for them to get in first. He put their luggage in the trunk, and only after they got in did Huo Haocheng drive towards the Ruan family's house.

"Third Uncle, Third Aunt, Grandpa, Grandma, and Mom and Dad are waiting at home. We'll have dinner together tonight. I've already made reservations at the guesthouse, so don't worry. I'll take you there after dinner."

Having heard that they were coming, the Ruan family cleaned up their room and wanted them to stay at their home. However, Huo Haocheng knew their personalities, so after explaining to his grandmother and the others, he booked rooms for them at a nearby guesthouse.

Huo Songhuai and his wife were very satisfied with Huo Haocheng's arrangements. It wasn't that they didn't want to stay at the Ruan family's house, but rather that it was inconvenient for them, as they had no relatives or friends, to stay in someone else's home. They wondered what the neighbors would say.

Throughout the journey, Ruan Ruan never let go of the bouquet in her hand, and would occasionally lower her head to smell it, showing how much she liked it. Huo Haocheng drove while occasionally glancing at her, and seeing that she was very happy, he silently remembered that his wife liked flowers, and he would send her more in the future.

When they arrived at the compound and registered at the gate, Ruan Chuanji and Gu Wenzhen also returned from get off work. They had known they were coming, so they had both left work half an hour early.

"Songhuai, sister-in-law, you're here! Come in quickly!" Ruan Chuanji and Gu Wenzhen came out after hearing the car and saw Huo Songhuai getting out of the car. They immediately went to greet him.

"Brother Ruan, it's been a long time. I apologize for disturbing you this time," Huo Songhuai said as he stepped forward to see Ruan Chuanji and his wife come out.

"Don't bother us, we're family. We're so happy you could come. Come on in, my parents are waiting for you!"

The two of them went inside first. Gu Wenzhen hadn't seen her daughter for a long time either, but with Wang Qun there, she had no choice but to let her go in first. "Sister-in-law, it's been a long time! Come on, let's go inside, it's cold outside."
