The group readily agreed and picked up their empty baskets, pretending to carry them on their backs.
Jiang Wuzhi suddenly had a brilliant idea, "One star, why don't you give me a few clips, I'll show them off to the directors."
"Can."
"Then I want one too."
"I want one too!"
So Jiang Yixing got two fish each, making it equal for everyone. They each took two fish and happily went back to their rooms.
The director saw them returning from afar, glanced at his watch, and exclaimed, "So fast? That's impossible!"
The assistant director asked, "Did you forget something and come back to get it?"
As the five people walked in, they all turned around, revealing the small fish baskets on their backs.
The director checked them one by one, "Did everyone catch two fish?"
The director's voice rose, and his shock was easily discernible.
"Impossible, you didn't cheat, did you?"
The director looked at the cameraman suspiciously, only to see the cameraman shake his head with a very complicated expression on his face.
Jiang Wuzhi walked past the director with a big smile on his face, carrying the fish.
The others followed behind Jiang Wu, all wearing smug smiles.
Jiang Yixing was the last one, and nodded to the director with a smile.
The director asked the cinematographer to gather information.
"What? She caught ten fish all by herself?"
The photographer nodded.
No, that's impossible.
The director waved his hands repeatedly, saying that this was illogical.
But then I thought again, had Jiang Yixing ever done anything that made sense?
The director and assistant director exchanged a glance, their eyes blazing with determination. Tomorrow! They must turn the tables!
On the third day, the guests safely welcomed the final day of the variety show recording.
Today, the director has assigned everyone the following task:
"Please take your labor to the market and sell your goods. Earn one hundred yuan, and use that money to buy ingredients and prepare your dinner for today."
Jiang Wu asked, "What about lunch?"
Director: "Solve it yourself."
Jiang Wu's silence told him everything!
The group arrived at the market in the program crew's car. It was the weekend, and the market was bustling with activity.
Jiang Yixing held the director's task card in his hand. Today's tasks can be divided into three points: 1. Sell fish and mushrooms, with an income of at least 100 yuan; 2. Find lunch for himself; 3. Buy ingredients for dinner.
The production crew was quite heartless, leaving the group at the market entrance, along with fish and a large bag of mushrooms, and then driving away, only saying, "We'll come back to pick you up this afternoon."
Jiang Yixing observed the sellers in the market. Most of them had their own shops, while some simply laid out a cloth on the ground and started selling.
Apart from a tablecloth and a stack of bags provided by the production team, they had no other resources and could only operate a "street stall".
Zheng Lan assigned tasks: the boys were responsible for shouting out the money, while the girls were responsible for collecting the money.
However, the fish and mushrooms spread out on the ground did not attract many people.
Jiang Yixing glanced at the cameramen surrounding him and the large equipment they were carrying, and understood.
Most of the people at the market were villagers from surrounding towns and villages who came to buy things. When they saw these machines set up, they were confused and didn't know if it was a movie shoot. Neither they wanted to buy nor did they dare to approach.
Zheng Lan shouted until her voice was hoarse before she managed to attract a few customers.
He took a sip of water and asked, puzzled, "What's going on? Why isn't anyone coming?"
“We need to think of some ways to attract customers,” Jiang Yixing said.
"What method?"
Li Yuxin pulled Yue Feng over, "Aren't you a model? Come walk the runway."
Yue Feng said with difficulty, "It's too narrow here."
"How about we dance?" Zheng Lan suggested.
"But we don't have a sound system either."
"And who can dance?"
The group looked at each other in bewilderment. Apart from Yue Feng, the rest of them were all professional actors, and none of them had actually practiced dancing.
"Then what should we do?"
Li Yuxin frowned, deep in thought.
Cheers came from the other end of the street. The group turned around and saw a crowd of people gathered there.
Why are there so many people there?
Jiang Wuzhi craned his neck, wanting to see what was going on.
Jiang Yixing had sharp eyesight and immediately spotted a group of acrobats gathered in the crowd, performing energetically.
A little girl in red was lifted high, spun around quickly in the air, her skirt billowing, and then landed steadily, picked up by her partner.
"Oh my god."
Li Yuxin gasped in surprise, startled by the terrifying scene.
Jiang Yixing's gaze, however, was drawn to a pile of props they had placed on the ground beside them, among which happened to be a soft sword.
"I've got it."
Jiang Yixing smiled slightly and walked towards the crowd.
"Hey—" Li Yuxin saw Jiang Yixing leave and quickly followed behind her.
Jiang Wuzhi followed suit immediately.
Although Zheng Lan was completely confused, she followed along.
Yue Feng was left alone. He wanted to go with them, but after looking at the stall, he decided to stay.
Jiang Yixing borrowed the soft sword from the acrobatic troupe, who didn't need the sword that day, so they agreed.
"Yixing, why do you need this?" Li Yuxin asked, completely bewildered.
"We can perform this."
Jiang Wuzhi looked surprised. "You know how to do this?"
Zheng Lan took the sword and examined it. The blade was very soft, snow-white with a silver sheen, somewhat like the sword he had used in the drama.
In Zheng Lan's hand, the sword tip collapsed, and with a sudden burst of force, the blade snapped straight.
Zheng Lan brandished the sword in her hand. "I can do a little too."
Jiang Yixing smiled, "Then shall you go first, or shall I go first?"
Zheng Lan thought about Jiang Yixing's deeds and dared not let Jiang Yixing go first.
She performed first, will anyone still watch him?
"Me first, me first!"
Back at their stall, the group cleared the area in front of them, and Jiang Yixing asked the two photographers to find a secluded corner to hide in.
Zheng Lan held the sword in one hand, raised his hand to assume a stance, and the sword flashed, a silver light flashed by. He had been working out for many years and had a great physique. At this moment, he was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and sports pants, which perfectly showed off his muscles. He wielded the foil smoothly, his eyes were sharp, and he was full of momentum.
As the crowd gradually gathered around, Zheng Lan immediately won a round of applause.
Seeing that their plan was quite effective, Li Yuxin and her group immediately started shouting:
"Fish for sale! Fresh fish!"
"Fresh and delicious mushrooms! Cheap and plentiful!"
Under the blazing sun and in high temperatures, Zheng Lan broke into a light sweat after just a little exercise. He rested one hand on his hip, flashing a set of white teeth. "How was it? Not bad, right?"
Jiang Yixing nodded. "Great."
At this time, the area around the stall was crowded with people.
Jiang Yixing and Zheng Lan didn't chat for long; they seized the opportunity and joined the ranks of sellers.
Half of the ingredients were sold in one go. Li Yuxin took a sip of water to moisten her throat. Her throat was sore from shouting when so many people were buying things.
Jiang Wuzhi was dizzy from the sun. "Yixing, when are you going to perform? Let's hurry up and sell all this stuff and go back."
Jiang Yixing smiled and said, "Don't rush, wait a little longer."
