The film crew continued shooting into the night, and Rong Hang couldn't stay there indefinitely.
His gaze lingered on Jiang Yixing, who, on set, was just like she had been in the Miaofamen sect—warm, generous, and beautiful.
"I'm leaving now. Remember to rest while you're filming."
Jiang Yixing waved her hand, her eyes bright and captivating, as if she were seeing the sun even at night. "Okay, be careful on your way back."
"Um."
Rong Hang nodded, turned and left, with his assistant dutifully following behind him.
Zeng Yuan watched Rong Hang leave with a gloomy expression.
Hmph, what are you pretending for? You're not part of the crew after all, you still have to leave.
Even after you leave, will you still be able to protect Jiang Yixing?
Zeng Yuan shifted his gaze from Rong Hang to Jiang Yixing. He hadn't had a single scene with Jiang Yixing all day, and with Rong Hang always around, he hadn't had a chance to interact with Jiang Yixing alone.
What a waste of money hiring paparazzi!
Zeng Yuan thought through gritted teeth.
Jiang Yixing and Rong Hang walked outside the film set. The evening sun was dim, casting a dim yellow light between them.
Watching the vehicle slowly drive away, Jiang Yixing turned and returned to the film set.
As soon as he stepped onto the set, Zeng Yuan clung to him like a persistent leech.
Jiang Yixing's impatience had already surfaced. Before Zeng Yuan could get close, she glanced at him sideways.
Zeng Yuan suddenly stopped.
Jiang Yixing always had a smile on her face. With her distinct features, bright teeth, and clear eyes, she looked exceptionally kind and approachable.
However, when she suddenly stopped smiling, her phoenix eyes shone brightly, which for some reason gave people a chill.
Zeng Yuan's meal caused Jiang Yixing to walk away. When he came to his senses, Jiang Yixing was already standing on the field again, with Jin Qiao and Wu Wei standing next to him.
He cursed inwardly, "What the hell is going on? Why are Jiang Yixing and Rong Hang both acting so strangely?!"
After that, Zeng Yuan had even less time to spend with Jiang Yixing.
I don't know how Fang Zhixing arranged the filming today, but he moved all of his scenes to the back and filmed all the other people's scenes first.
Zeng Yuan waited all night until the filming wrapped up, but he couldn't wait any longer. He found Fang Zhixing and said angrily, "Director, why didn't I have any scenes today? I was supposed to have a scene, wasn't I?"
When Fang Zhixing saw that Zeng Yuan had finally come looking for him, he took out a stack of contracts from his bag and said, "Zeng Yuan, take a look at this."
Zeng Yuan took the contract, and the words "Termination of Contractual Relationship" in large bold letters caught his eye.
“This…” Zeng Yuan hesitated for a moment, then returned the contract to Fang Zhixing. “Director Fang, what do you mean by this? We signed a contract. If you terminate the contract without cause, you will have to pay a penalty.”
Fang Zhixing nodded. "That's right. So, you can contact a lawyer to file a lawsuit. If you want to terminate the contract peacefully, we will also pay the penalty for breach of contract."
Zeng Yuan's pupils dilated in shock, "You!"
Realizing his tone had been too harsh, Zeng Yuan softened his expression. "Director Fang, is there a reason? This is too sudden."
Fang Zhixing shrugged; he was also surprised.
This story goes back to the afternoon when Rong Hang was still there. Rong Hang suddenly asked for a favor, and Fang Zhixing, overwhelmed by the idol's aura, agreed on the spot.
Fang Zhixing didn't expect that Rong Hang's talk of being busy meant that he needed to replace the actor playing the senior brother.
"You replaced him with Zeng Yuan?" Fang Zhixing asked with some surprise.
Although he didn't like Zeng Yuan, he was someone the investors had put in, so he couldn't very well refuse.
Fang Zhixing looked a little embarrassed; he really couldn't help with this.
“Zeng Yuan did sign a contract, and the penalty for breach of contract is substantial.”
"I'll pay."
Fang Zhixing was shocked by the "money power" that the person in front of him had revealed in an instant. He did not hide his shock at all and whispered a number.
Rong Hang remained calm. "I'll do it."
Fang Zhixing swallowed hard and tentatively asked, "But Zeng Yuan was put in by the investors."

The assistant stepped forward, wrote down the name, and then went to the side to make a phone call.
Fang Zhixing glanced at his assistant, who was on the phone with him, nodding occasionally, then looked at Rong Hang, who remained calm.
“There’s one last problem,” Fang Zhixing said. “If we can’t find a suitable replacement actor, the overall progress will be slowed down.”

His keen senses as a director kicked in, and he almost couldn't resist rushing forward to invite Rong Hang to act in his play.
However, considering Rong Hang's recently revealed substantial family wealth and his role as the main character in director Zheng Guiting's film, Fang Zhixing suppressed his restless heart.
The next second, however, they heard Rong Hang's voice, deep and magnetic.
"Can I do it?"
Fireworks exploded in Fang Zhixing's heart.
What incredible luck! Could it be that heaven is finally going to favor him?
How come he can suddenly replace actors he dislikes without spending a penny of his own money, and the actors he wanted to invite one second now say they want to participate the next?
"Can!"
Fang Zhixing agreed almost without hesitation, fearing that if he missed this opportunity, he would never have another chance.
The assistant hung up the phone, walked back to Rong Hang's side, and nodded to him.
Fang Zhixing observed his expression and immediately understood what it meant.
