Chapter 135

Jiang Yixing didn't tell Rong Hang that she was rushing back today, intending to give him a surprise. When she took out her key and opened the door, Rong Hang was sitting on the sofa.

He heard the door open and immediately turned around, a familiar scent wafting from the doorway.

Jiang Yixing stood at the door, dragging her suitcase behind her. The autumn air was getting stronger and the weather was getting colder. She was wearing a brown wool scarf, which covered half of her face, leaving only a pair of smiling glasses visible.

Jiang Yixing released his grip on the suitcase handle, opened his arms, and said, "I'm back."

Rong Hang's eyes lit up. He instantly teleported from the sofa to the doorway, wrapped his long arm around Jiang Yixing, and pulled her into a tight embrace.

Jiang Yixing's head was wedged under Rong Hang's chin. Rong Hang lingered and inhaled Jiang Yixing's scent a few times, but then noticed a little creature he had never seen before.

At this moment, Xiao Qingtuan was standing on Jiang Yixing's shoulder, looking at the two people embracing each other with a blank expression.

Rong Hang frowned, picked up the green rice dumpling and tossed it aside, "Where did you get some kind of spirit stuck to?"

Oh no! Before Jiang Yixing could stop it, he saw the green dumpling fly out in a parabolic arc and roll twice on the fluffy carpet.

Jiang Yixing glanced apologetically at the clueless Qingtuan, "This is Qingtuan, a spirit of an orchid."

"You know him?"

Rong Hang looked at Qing Tuan's silly appearance and wondered to himself, "How did this plant become a spirit?"

Jiang Yixing hummed in agreement and said in a low voice, "Just like the bat demon we caught before, it was almost brainwashed by the person behind it."

Jiang Yixing briefly explained the story of the green rice dumplings, and then Rong Hang touched her shoulder, "Are you alright?"

Jiang Yixing smiled, her light lip gloss glistening on her lips, as bright as her eyes. "It's nothing."

"I haven't informed Gu Chun yet, I rushed back in a hurry, I'll call him later."

"No rush, I'll do it later."

Rong Hang's lips curled up, his long eyelashes like alluring weapons, his blinking eyes stirring Jiang Yixing's heart. "Hmm... I saw your interview."

Jiang Yixing swallowed hard and leaned back slightly, but Rong Hang grabbed her and gently stroked her back with his palm.

When Rong Hang saw Jiang Yixing's interest, a dark color spread across his dark eyes, and the corners of his cherry-red lips curved into a beautiful arc, his nose touching Jiang Yixing's nose.

"I like you too, I like you so much."

Jiang Yixing found it hard to resist Rong Hang's temptation, like the little mermaid in a fairy tale being seduced by a witch, drinking the potion sip by sip.

Rong Hang and Jiang Yixing's lips were only 0.1 centimeters apart. Xiao Qingtuan finally came to her senses and recovered from the dizziness of being thrown out. She looked up and saw that Jiang Yixing and Rong Hang were extremely close.

A hint of doubt flashed through Qingtuanzi's empty mind, but then, following her instincts, she hopped onto Jiang Yixing's shoulder in a few quick steps, choosing an excellent vantage point to observe this perplexing behavior up close.

Two friends who were about to get intimate were unable to do so under the scorching gaze of a blade of grass.

Jiang Yixing turned his head and looked helplessly at Qingtuanzi. He tapped its head, making it stumble, but it still clung tightly to Jiang Yixing's shoulder and refused to leave.

Rong Hang, however, was not so gentle. He abandoned his seductive and tender approach towards Jiang Yixing, his face as cold as ice, seemingly even colder than the ice blocks he had summoned.
