Jiang Yixing gripped his slender sword, turned and charged toward another deserted hilltop. Half of the men in black behind him chased after Jiang Yixing, while the other half surrounded Rong Hang and began to attack.
The two split the attack of the men in black into two halves, with each person responsible for one side. Jiang Yixing and Rong Hang did not need to speak to each other, but they fought each other in perfect harmony.
The men in black followed the two men and landed on the nearest hilltop. Almost as soon as Jiang Yixing landed, their attack began, and sharp sword energy grazed Jiang Yixing's cheek.
Jiang Yixing tilted his head slightly, dodging the successive attacks. His eyes turned cold as he held his rapier horizontally in front of his chest, blocking the black-clad man's broadsword.
The man in black behind him held a trident, its pointed end aimed at Jiang Yixing's back. He thrust his hands down forcefully, almost touching Jiang Yixing's back, but in the next second, he was drenched by a huge wave that appeared out of nowhere.
He was slammed onto the neighboring hilltop by the sudden wave, crashing hard against the protruding rocks. He coughed up blood, but was then washed away by the excess water, leaving only a damp patch on the ground.
The remaining men in black did not pause or spare a glance for their companions. Instead, they all launched another attack on Jiang Yixing. This time, however, they were all more cautious, as Jiang Yixing's strength was not to be underestimated.
Jiang Yixing released the sword and put it into his storage ring. He then released the hand seals and summoned countless slender green leaves with a breath.
Suddenly, the snow-covered mountaintop seemed to come alive with spring, and greenery began to sprout.
The slender, willow-leaf-like leaves surrounded Jiang Yixing, slowly forming an area that no one dared to set foot in.
The remaining leaves flew towards the man in black, swirling and accelerating through the air as they hurtled toward him.
The leaves, which looked weak and seemed like they could be easily knocked down, actually left fine, deep cuts on the enemy's face and body, constantly oozing blood.
The men in black were terrified by the frightening, deadly leaf. Their breath caught in their throats, and they could hardly imagine what would happen if the leaf scratched their necks.
No one dared to step forward anymore. They all surrounded Jiang Yixing, looking for an opportunity, their bodies slightly hunched over, constantly searching for a chance.
A man in black took out a feather fan, which shone with divine light as soon as it was held, clearly not an ordinary artifact.
He held a feather fan and fanned it vigorously. Suddenly, a strong wind arose, causing green leaves to flutter and swirl, losing their original strength and only lightly brushing against the man in black.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, all the men in black rushed forward. Jiang Yixing took two steps back, dodging the continuous attacks.
Jiang Yixing raised a finger of his right hand, and a sky full of fireballs swept in, as if burning half the sky red, attracting people from the surrounding towns and villages to watch this natural phenomenon.
The fireball's heat was not apparent from a distance, but as it flew closer, its scorching temperature became palpable, almost evaporating all the moisture in the open space.
Some of the men in black were unable to dodge in time and were burned by the scorching fireball, causing them to scream in pain. In an instant, their formation was thrown into chaos, and the men in black scattered and fled in all directions.
Some withstood the scorching heat, like a volcanic eruption, and charged straight at Jiang Yixing. They gripped a shield, holding it tightly in front of them. Ice and snow kept bursting out of the shield, only to be melted by the scorching fireballs.
