At the end of the party, Jiang Yixing arranged a fireworks display. Zhang Zhimin and Tao Yating, having received a look from Jiang Yixing, stood up on their own initiative and invited everyone to go outside.
The crowd was confused, but they still stood up and followed the group out the door, where there was a huge crowd of fans.
Amidst cheers and jubilation, Jiang Yixing clapped his hands, and the staff who had been prepared brought up boxes of fireworks and distributed sparklers that could be held and lit.
Winter nights always fall early. The sun had already set, and the moon was high in the sky. The temperature outside was not high, so everyone pulled their coats tighter and waited quietly for the staff to light the fireworks.
The fuse of the firework was lit, sparking in the air. The fuse burned shorter and shorter until the firework shot into the sky with a bang and then exploded in the heavens.
The brilliant fireworks suddenly exploded, bursting into dazzling colors. Sparks fell from the sky, making those waiting below feel as if countless sparks were falling, beautiful yet fleeting.
As the first firework exploded, one after another, fireworks rose into the sky. They had different shapes and colors, with white, light blue, and pink mixed together, dazzling the entire sky.
The darkness seemed to recede considerably in the face of these incredibly bright fireworks, and everyone's pupils reflected this magnificent scene.
In the light of the fireworks, people could see the faces of those around them. Some clenched their fists and made wishes while facing the fireworks.
Some people, having already anticipated their departure, stared wide-eyed, wanting to imprint this scene in their minds forever.
Some people struggled to pass, feeling like they had a chance to advance, but also like they would be eliminated. Their complicated feelings brought tears to their eyes.
The fansites were also silent at this moment, with only the clicking of camera shutters coming from all around. Fireworks and young girls, what a classic combination.
Mao Helin looked up at the sky. Such romantic fireworks would surely leave a mark on his memory. He lowered his head, lit the sparkler in his hand, and handed it to Jiang Yixing, who was still looking up at the sky.
Jiang Yixing's eyes widened at the sparkler thrust in front of him. "For me?"
Mao Helin nodded. He had another one in his hand, so he lit one and gave it to Jiang Yixing.
"Thank you for inviting me. I'm so glad to see such beautiful fireworks."
Mao Helin raised his head again, his Adam's apple protruding from his slender neck.
Jiang Yixing followed his gaze. The first batch of fireworks had gradually faded, while the second batch was rapidly rising into the air, exploding once again with dazzling colors.
Jiang Yixing waved her sparkler, which produced tiny sparks that were both cute and beautiful.
Jiang Yixing didn't stand on ceremony with him and said directly, "Thank me so simply?"
Mao Helin turned his head and asked, "Then what do you want?"
Jiang Yixing raised his eyebrows. "You have to treat me to a meal, no matter what."
A slight smile appeared on Mao Helin's usually aloof face, like a wildflower suddenly blooming by the roadside in spring. "Okay."
He lit another sparkler in his hand, and the small sparks exploded into a delicate pink color, which further accentuated his handsome features.
Zhang Zhimin and Tao Yating appeared out of nowhere, each holding a handful of sparklers. Under the firelight, their fair faces radiated five-colored light.
Zhang Zhimin jumped over and put his arm around Jiang Yixing's shoulder, "Yixing!"
Tao Yating came out from the other side and touched the sparkler in Jiang Yixing's hand with her sparkler. The two sparklers collided, illuminating the area brightly.
Zhang Zhimin handed the fireworks to Tao Yating, then pulled Jiang Yixing into his arms with one hand, saying, "What are you and Teacher Mao doing here alone?"
Tao Yating pretended not to see the provocation on Zhang Zhimin's face, then glanced at the Zhan sisters not far away without leaving a trace, and moved even closer to Jiang Yixing.
Jiang Yixing was surrounded by people from the front and back, with Comrade Mao Helin standing beside him.
Jiang Yixing twitched her lips and stepped away from the group, saying, "I'm going to get some drinks."
In the evening, a barbecue was arranged. It was pre-ordered from outside. Originally, we planned to have it cooked on-site, but considering various safety issues, we ultimately decided to go for the safest option – to eat what someone else had prepared.
After Jiang Yixing left, Zhang Zhimin and Tao Yating exchanged a glance, standing a meter apart, neither willing to get closer to the other.
The remaining simple-minded Mao and Lin were playing with sparklers in their hands, their eyes fixed on the flashing tip, as if they had no interest in worldly affairs.
Jiang Yixing brought over large boxes of drinks, and the staff immediately came forward to help, but Jiang Yixing shook her head, "It's okay, they're not heavy."
The young female staff member glanced at the box full of drinks with disbelief. After Jiang Yixing left, she tried it herself and found it incredibly heavy; she could barely move even one box.
But... Jiang Yixing, the little girl looked at Jiang Yixing who went to greet someone else, she had carried three boxes in one go!
Avoiding the gaze of the crowd, Jiang Yixing arrived at a secluded grove of trees. Behind the trees, the trainees were laughing and playing, and the aroma of barbecue wafted through the air.
Jiang Yixing sent the recorded video of the fireworks display to Rong Hang, who replied very quickly, perhaps because he had been waiting in front of his phone.
"Are you guys playing?"
“Yes, we had a party,” Jiang Yixing turned the camera to himself, saw his face appear on the small screen, realized that he was smiling too brightly, and unconsciously suppressed his smile. “I found that the atmosphere among the students has been too depressing lately, so I thought I would hold a party to liven things up.”
"it's over?"
Rong Hang seemed to still be in the hotel, with the dark night as the background and twinkling lights in the darkness.
"Not yet," Jiang Yixing turned her head away, glancing back at the still laughing and chatting crowd. "They're eating. I came over first because..."
Jiang Yixing paused for a moment, then said, "I miss you so much."
She spoke these words clearly, as if afraid that Rong Hang might not hear them.
Jiang Yixing was facing away from the light, her face hidden in the darkness, but her eyes were crinkled with laughter.
Looking into Jiang Yixing's exceptionally bright eyes, Rong Hang unconsciously swallowed, wishing he could tear up a time scroll and come to Jiang Yixing's side.
However, Jiang Yixing seemed to have read his mind, saying, "Don't use the scrolls randomly."
Rong Hang felt a pang of disappointment, then something occurred to him, and his eyes lit up:
"The film is being screened this weekend, are you coming?"
"So fast?"
Jiang Yixing thought she would have to wait until this episode of the variety show was finished recording.
However, this was Rong Hang's first film selection, and regardless of the outcome, Jiang Yixing wanted to stay by his side.
