Before the second day's events began, the organizers sent a host and planners to go over the process.
It just so happened that Jiang Yixing and He Mang were in the same hotel, which made things much easier for the organizers. They communicated directly with the two of them and then brought the two guests to the event venue together.
He Mang had been in an unusual state since early morning. He spent the whole night thinking about the script and plot, and couldn't wait to start filming. Even when the organizers came to find him, he was still immersed in his own world most of the time.
Even with a thick tuft of beard on his feet, Jiang Yixing could tell that he looked haggard.
Jiang Yixing patted him on the shoulder from behind, "Even artists shouldn't ruin their health like this."
He Mang felt a sudden surge of energy, instantly feeling refreshed and invigorated.
But he didn't doubt anything in his heart; he only felt that his muse had brought him a new thrill.
Jiang Yixing and He Mang were taken to get their makeup done first. Jiang Yixing had already gotten used to having someone apply makeup to her face and found that it was quite comfortable once she got used to it.
He Mang, however, wasn't used to other people's makeup. Her face stiffened as she asked, "Director He, could you shave off a bit of your beard?"
He Mang nodded.
But this shaving took away most of it, leaving only a thin layer for He Mang in the end.
Of course, the person instantly became much more energetic, but He Mang's face darkened.
The makeup artists in the dressing room were a little scared. Director He was tall and strong, and his shaved face was handsome and dashing, with an extremely striking good looks, which made them admire him while also being terrified.
"Director He, it's done."
He Mang turned to look at himself in the mirror and found himself somewhat unfamiliar with his reflection. It had been so long since he had seen what his face looked like without the beard.
At that moment, the door to the dressing room across the street also opened.
Jiang Yixing wore a black short-sleeved dress. Since it was an offline event, there would be many audience members present. The stylist chose a simple and elegant dress with a skirt that hugged Jiang Yixing's waist, outlining her perfect curves.
Jiang Yixing's long hair was curled and placed on one side of her face. Her makeup was dignified with a touch of allure, and her eyes were even more upturned with the help of eyeliner.
He Mang swallowed hard, cursing himself for being a visual creature with boundless lust.
He Mang wore a light brown suit today, and the slight stubble on his chin added to his wild charm.
"Your beard is gone?" Jiang Yixing smiled.
"Mm," He Mang replied in a low voice, his voice tinged with a depth he himself didn't even realize.
The female makeup artist who was doing He Mang's makeup looked up again upon hearing this. Damn it, He Mang's voice is just too beautiful!
Jiang Yixing also looked at He Mang with a bit of curiosity. Who was this guy trying to seduce this time?
He Mang, a modern playboy who used to change girlfriends twice a month, has a whole repertoire of flirting techniques. He's fine when he has a big beard, but when he replaces it with a masculine stubble, he unconsciously displays his familiar skills again.
The host warmed up the audience on stage, and accompanied by music and the host's introduction, Jiang Yixing and He Mang walked onto the stage together.
A huge round of applause erupted from the audience. Jiang Yixing hadn't expected so many people to be there today. He glanced around and recognized many familiar faces in the audience.
Jiang Yixing suppressed a twitch at the corner of his mouth. Aren't you cultivators? What are you doing here?!
The cultivators were unaware of Jiang Yixing's inner thoughts and were focused on giving him face.
The nuns lined up on the left, holding up signs made overnight, and shouted the slogan they had come up with that very night: "One star! One star! The strongest of the century!"
The male monks lined up on the right, shouting, "One star! One star! The most beautiful in the century!"
The cheers from the crowd gradually subsided, and onlookers, startled by the two slogans that exuded the spirit of military training, all turned to look.
Jiang Yixing finally couldn't help but laugh out loud. This slogan was indeed simple and easy to understand, but the first sentence seemed to have stolen Zhou Xinghe's WeChat name?
When the cultivators saw Jiang Yixing smile, they were so excited that the plaques in their hands shook even more violently.
Jiang Yixing raised her hand and pressed it down, her voice gradually softening with her gesture, "Thank you everyone, I really like the signs you all made."
After saying that, Jiang Yixing winked at the crowd over there.
The cultivators were thrilled, knowing that Jiang Yixing must have recognized them!
But even when they were excited, they just waved and shook the sign.
Everyone present had one thought: Are these well-trained people really fans? They're so organized and disciplined!
Jiang Yixing stopped smiling, nodded to the host, and signaled that she could begin.
The host was indeed a professional; he quickly got into the zone, and everything proceeded smoothly.
To the organizers' surprise, the event sold more products than expected, suggesting that Jiang Yixing's sales performance needs to be reassessed in the future.
The third round of mini-games began.
It just so happens that a male audience member was chosen to go on stage. This audience member was dressed in all black and wearing a black baseball cap.
The game is a simple charades game, where Jiang Yixing acts out the answers and the audience answers.
Jiang Yixing was very outgoing, and in the previous rounds he demonstrated his movements generously. With the host's cooperation, the atmosphere on set was lively.
The organizers breathed a sigh of relief; the better the atmosphere, the easier it would be to promote their products.
When the male audience member went on stage, he became somewhat taciturn, seemingly due to excessive nervousness, and failed to answer several simple questions.
Seeing the atmosphere gradually cooling down, the host became anxious and quickly tried to salvage the situation, saying, "This audience member might be a little nervous, but it's okay. Everyone who participates in the interaction will receive a complete set of Fobana gift boxes."
The staff handed the gift box to the male audience member, but he refused to take it.
