Two of the women were Zhang Liying and her new assistant.
Soon after, the two parties signed the contract.
The middle-aged man then picked up his wine glass, looked at Zhang Liying, and smiled:
"Ms. Zhang, this movie, from its script to its cast and investment, will be the most sensational big-budget production next year."
"With this drama's support, you're a shoo-in for the Silver Rooster Award next year. Wishing us a successful collaboration!"
After the man finished speaking, he smiled and picked up his glass of red wine, drinking it all in one gulp.
"Thank you for your appreciation, Mr. Kato. I wish us all a pleasant collaboration!"
After Zhang Liying finished speaking, she also picked up her wine glass and took a small, reserved sip.
The man didn't care at all, and just winked at another pretty woman.
The woman immediately understood and quickly smiled at Zhang Liying's assistant:
"Xiao Liu, I've arranged your rooms. Come with me for a moment and see if there's anything you need to change."
After saying that, he pulled his female assistant and walked outside.
This left only Zhang Liying and the middle-aged man at the scene.
The female assistant immediately sensed something was wrong and stopped to wait for Zhang Liying's instructions.
The middle-aged man laughed heartily.
"Ms. Zhang, please rest assured, I just have something important I'd like to discuss with you privately, it will only take ten minutes at most."
Zhang Liying hesitated for a moment, then instructed her female assistant:
"Then you go ahead and come back to me in five minutes."
She really didn't want to be alone with another man, but considering it was work, she gave him five minutes.
It's normal that the other party, being an investor, might not be comfortable discussing certain things in front of outsiders.
The beautiful woman then took her assistant's hand, walked out the door, and gently closed it behind her.
