Chapter 269 Void Divine Mountain

Upon hearing Chu Mo's words, Qin Potian and the other man were immediately taken aback, their eyes filled with surprise and joy, and they anxiously asked:

"And what is that?"

Thinking back to the bizarre scene that appeared in his mind when he broke through, Chu Mo is still shocked to this day.

Then, after refining his words, he solemnly began to speak:

"At the moment of my breakthrough, a strange scene suddenly appeared in my mind, as if a mysterious force had suddenly projected that scene into my mind."

"It was a majestic mountain peak suspended in the sky, desolate and mysterious. I am quite certain that the mountain peak is in this world."

"There was no life on that mountain. I only saw an ancient tomb on the top of the mountain."

"I have a vague feeling that the ancient tomb must have a special connection with this world."

Upon hearing this, even Qin Potian couldn't help but eagerly press for an answer:

"Can you find that place?"

"Perhaps. Although that scene has disappeared, it seems that I have a connection with that ancient tomb."

Even Chu Mo himself was deeply moved at this point.

He knew, of course, that it wasn't the ancient tomb that was connected to him, but rather that it had some secret connection with bronze.

At that moment, a bold guess couldn't help but form in his mind.

Could it be that the original owner of the bronze tripod was buried in that ancient tomb?

Could the human emperor be buried inside?

When he voiced his guess, the other two couldn't help but look surprised.

But upon closer reflection, it seems quite reasonable.

If the Human Emperor was truly the owner of the divine artifact, it makes perfect sense that he was buried inside the artifact after his death in battle.

Nangong Xiu couldn't help but ask curiously:

"Grandpa Qin, if that's really the case, then who buried him inside the bronze cauldron?"

"After the Human Emperor died and before Chu Mo, the divine artifact clearly did not have a master."

Qin Potian slowly shook his head and said:

"It's not hard to explain. All magical artifacts have spirits, and this is a divine artifact, so how could it not have one?"

"The spirits of legendary artifacts are said to be almost as intelligent as humans, and they can even detach themselves from the artifacts and briefly appear in the outside world."

"Perhaps the Emperor's body was collected by this artifact spirit."

Upon hearing this, Chu Mo realized that he had indeed never discovered the spirit of the bronze cauldron after obtaining it.

This is a true divine artifact!

So, if there really is a spirit of an artifact, where is it?

Why has the spirit of the artifact never appeared even though I've had it for so long?

The fact that I can use it and freely enter and exit this place clearly shows that I have gained its approval.

But why has its existence never been discovered?

Could it be that, like Xiao Liu, it suffered severe damage in that battle?

But if that's the case, how did it collect the body?

Faced with this question, none of the three could find an answer for the time being.

Chu Mo didn't think much of it and simply said:

"Master, since we can't figure it out, let's find this ancient tomb first."

His connection with the ancient tomb, though not lost, was extremely weak.

It's so subtle that if you don't concentrate, you won't even notice it yourself.

"In that case, let's set off in a bit. As for Xiuxiu, let's send her out to cultivate, just in case!"

After a moment's thought, Qin Potian made a decisive decision.

No one knows if there are any dangers inside that ancient tomb.

If something were to happen to the two of them, at least Nangong Xiu wouldn't be trapped here.

"Grandpa Qin, please be careful. I'm not going anywhere. I'll just wait for you to come back here."

Nangong Xiu shook her head firmly, knowing that she wouldn't be able to help even if she went.

If something happens, it will require both of them to take care of her, making her a burden.

Rather than doing that, it's better to stay here and cultivate.

She was well aware of Grandpa Qin's concerns.

But if even he and Chu Mo get into trouble, what's the point of him staying in this world?

Seeing her firm stance, the two, who understood her personality, did not try to persuade her further.

After all, the chances of something going wrong are not high. If things become unmanageable, we can simply return the way we came.

Seeing that they had stopped trying to persuade her, the girl looked at Chu Mo shyly and whispered her advice:

"You need to be careful!"

"Don't worry, with Master here, I'll be fine."

Chu Mo smiled slightly, and then, taking advantage of his master's inattention, winked at her vigorously.

The girl blushed slightly, gave a soft "hmm," and then turned her head away without saying anything more.

But out of the corner of her eye, she couldn't help but steal a glance at Chu Mo.

Inside the bronze cauldron, the two spent their days together, though they merely sat and cultivated.

But she had long been used to his presence, and now that they were going to be separated for a short time, she was really finding it hard to adjust.

However, the girl had no idea what this meant.

I felt even more embarrassed to express my feelings.

After leaving her a huge amount of spirit stones, Chu Mo and his master disappeared instantly.

Having reached the upper-grade Golden Core stage, Chu Mo's speed was such that he could travel dozens of miles in the blink of an eye.

This speed far exceeds that of existing hypersonic missiles on Earth.

Although it was still far from the speed of light, it still made him feel triumphant and excited.

This is what a true cultivator should be like!

In the future, what will we need to take by plane or high-speed rail on Earth?

Just as Chu Mo was happily lost in his fantasies, Qin Potian couldn't help but frown slightly and say:

"You're too slow. Let me carry you. Just point the way."
