Chapter 249: Don’t cry, little idiot

"No, no, it's delicious." The assistant waved her hand and said, fearing that Sister Chu Xin would laugh at her, she swallowed the rest of the words.

The dumplings were delicious, but they still didn’t taste as good as the one in the box that had the filling missing.

The assistant had a tasteless meal. During the meal, she kept thinking about Su He and the recent events.

My heart, which had been quiet, suddenly came back to life for some reason and started beating again.

The young assistant looked worried all the way, with his head down looking at the road beneath his feet, his mind in a mess.

It was not until she bumped into a wall of flesh and covered her painful head with her hands that she withdrew her thoughts and raised her head.

When the young assistant saw the person standing in front of him, he instantly forgot the pain and opened his mouth in slight surprise.

"You guys chat first, I'm leaving first!" Jiang Chuxin looked at the two people who were very shrewd and were about to slip away. After taking a few quick steps, Jiang Chuxin looked back at the assistant, winked at her, and clenched her fist to cheer her on!

The assistant blushed.

"Let's talk." Su He said in a complicated voice when he saw the assistant.

For some reason, the young assistant has been avoiding him these days since he came back and has been indifferent to him.

He was completely confused and had no idea why she did this. He was in a very bad mood. When he couldn't see the assistant's smile, he felt as if a huge stone was pressing on his heart, so heavy that he couldn't breathe.

The young assistant nodded slightly, but he didn't dare to look at Su He.

The two of them walked to a deserted place. Su He suddenly hugged the assistant tightly, burying his head on her shoulder. His hoarse voice trembled a little, "What did I do wrong? Why are you hiding from me? Please don't hide from me anymore, okay?"

The young assistant was startled by this sudden action and his breathing stopped for a few seconds.

Hearing Su He's pleading tone, she suddenly felt distressed and even more guilty. Su He seemed to be afraid that the assistant would disappear, so he hugged her tightly, so tightly that she felt she could hardly breathe.

"Su He..." The assistant struggled to pat Su He's shoulder, "I can't breathe because of you hugging me like that."

Su He then let go of the assistant and touched his head a little embarrassedly. He was very happy to see that the assistant was willing to talk to him.

The young assistant was released and took a deep breath of fresh air. After he calmed down, he looked up and stared at Su He seriously.

His face had become thinner, and even the corners of his eyes were dark blue.

"Su He... I'm sorry." The young assistant's eyes were a little moist, and he looked at Su He and said with a sob.

Seeing the young assistant almost crying and apologizing to him, Su He panicked and was at a loss.

"Little idiot, don't cry." Su He reached out his hand to wipe the tears from her face, but after a pause, he withdrew his hand, his heart sinking to the bottom. "Don't cry, I won't make things difficult for you. If you hate me, then I promise not to bother you again in the future, okay?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Su He felt as if his heart was cut open by a knife.

Although it was very painful, he was willing to stay away from her if it meant that his assistant would smile every day.

From now on, I will just silently guard her from behind and never make things difficult for her again.

The assistant wiped away her tears, realizing that Su He had misunderstood her meaning, and burst into laughter, "You are the real idiot."
