Jiang Chuxin finished removing her makeup in the dressing room and was about to go back to rest, but she bumped into Jiang Wenxin at the door.
"Meng Fan, go call the car first." Jiang Chuxin glanced at Jiang Wenxin, then turned sideways and said to the assistant.
The assistant responded and left. Seeing the assistant leave, Jiang Wenxin said, "Sister, thank you."
Jiang Chuxin raised her eyebrows slightly, somewhat confused as to what Jiang Wenxin was apologizing for.
Jiang Wenxin understood her thoughts and explained with a smile, "I'm thanking you for finding a doctor to save Dad."
Jiang Chuxin raised an eyebrow when she heard this, and her voice was slightly distant. "Anything else?"
"Dad is recovering well, don't worry, sister." Jiang Wenxin had a gentle smile on her face. She paused and continued, "Um... Dad has been talking about you a lot lately. If you are free, can you go home and see him?"
Jiang Chuxin raised an eyebrow and looked at her coldly, "I'm busy."
After she finished speaking, she glanced at the door and saw that the assistant and the driver had come over and parked the car at the door. They ignored her and walked straight towards the nanny car.
Jiang Wenxin looked at Jiang Chuxin helplessly and sighed. She originally thought that she could take this opportunity to ease the relationship between the two, but she didn't expect her sister to still be so cold.
She watched Jiang Chuxin leave, with mixed feelings in her heart. She really wanted her sister to go home and get along well with their father, and she was willing to share their father's love, but she didn't understand why her sister was so stubborn.
After getting in the nanny car, Jiang Chuxin leaned back in the back seat and closed her eyes to rest. When she heard Jiang Wenxin say that her father had recovered well, she felt relieved.
The assistant thought Jiang Chuxin was tired and didn't disturb her, letting her close her eyes and rest.
Jiang Chuxin suddenly raised her eyelids, looked at the assistant and called out, "Meng Fan, I won't go back to the crew yet. Please take me to Lanqing Garden."
The assistant was a little confused, but when she remembered that Lanqing Garden was Sister Chu Xin's mother's home, she understood, "Okay, Sister Chu Xin."
The car quickly turned around and changed its route.
After about an hour, the car stopped.
Jiang Chuxin got out of the car, waved to the assistant to go back quickly, and then walked towards the gate of Lanqing Garden.
The assistant watched Jiang Chuxin enter Lanqing Garden before letting the driver leave.
Jiang Chuxin arrived at Luo Qinglan's house. Luo Qinglan was a little surprised to see Jiang Chuxin coming so late, "Why are you here?"
"I came here because I missed you." Jiang Chuxin turned into a little girl in front of Luo Qinglan, hugged her arm and acted coquettishly.
Luo Qinglan closed the door and looked at the faint dark circles under Jiang Chuxin's eyes and asked distressedly, "Did you stay up late filming again? Have you eaten yet?"
Feeling her mother's concern, Jiang Chuxin's eyes curved, "Not yet, I want to eat the fried rice that mom makes."
Luo Qinglan smiled and pretended to be a little disgusted, asking Jiang Chuxin to let go of her quickly, "You should go and rest for a while. I'll call you when you're done."
Jiang Chuxin nodded obediently, "Okay. I knew mom is the best!"
Luo Qinglan doted on Jiang Chuxin's nose and said with a smile, "Okay, okay, you're the only one who's being mean."
Jiang Chuxin let go of Luo Qinglan and lay on the sofa, watching Luo Qinglan busy in the kitchen. Feeling the warmth of home at this moment, she felt sleepy after a while and fell asleep with her eyes closed.
When Luo Qinglan finished cooking and brought out the meal, she saw her daughter curled up on the sofa and sleeping. She slowed down her pace and felt a little distressed. She picked up the blanket that had fallen on the ground and covered her with it again.
