Chapter 156 Autumn Gathering in the Newlywed Room (1/2)

The light autumn rain arrived quietly, soaking Seoul.

It had been a month since the last recording of "We Got Married". When the familiar new house in the village appeared in front of him again, Ou Yangguang felt a sense of homecoming.

The ginkgo trees lining both sides of the road are now a brilliant golden yellow, and the fallen leaves cover the path. After being wet by the rain, they add a touch of tranquil poetry.

He arrived first and completed his personal preparations.

Lying on the soft double bed, listening to the pattering rain against the windowpane, the fatigue of the past few days seemed to be gently soothed by the peaceful atmosphere, and he unconsciously fell into a deep sleep.

He didn't know how much time had passed when a slight sound of a door opening and a familiar fragrance woke him up.

He groggily opened his eyes and saw Kim Ji-won tiptoeing in. When she realized he was awake, she immediately gave him a sweet, apologetic smile.

"Did I wake you?" she asked softly, sitting down on the edge of the bed.

Ou Yangguang shook his head, sat up, and naturally reached out to tidy her temples, which were damp with raindrops: "No, I wasn't planning on falling asleep anyway. Is it raining heavily outside?"

"It's alright, just a little chilly." Kim Ji-won looked at his slightly dazed expression after waking up and found it cute, so she couldn't help but reach out and gently poke his cheek.

The two smiled at each other, and the room was filled with a warm tranquility, with only the sound of rain in the background.

Kim Ji-won took out her phone, and a soft jazz tune flowed out, adding warmth to the slightly chilly autumn morning.

They sat side by side against the headboard, not speaking, just listening to music and enjoying this rare moment of peace.

Occasionally, their eyes would meet, and they would smile in unison, the air filled with an unspoken understanding.

After the music ended, Ou Yangguang, in a playful mood, suddenly wrapped Kim Ji-won in a blanket, making her look like an adorable silkworm. He then watched her struggle and protest inside the blanket with a smug look, and laughter filled the entire room.

After they'd had their fun, Ou Yangguang suggested, "Nuna, since we have this rare opportunity, how about I make you a breakfast from my hometown? Clear soup with egg noodles, something to warm you up."

"Really? You can cook?" Kim Ji-won peeked out from under the covers with a bright, excited look in her eyes.

"Cough! Of course." Ou Yangguang rolled up his sleeves confidently, but why did he seem a little guilty?

The kitchen counter quickly became lively. Ou Yangguang calmly boiled water, cracked eggs, and cooked noodles, his focused profile appearing particularly serious under the warm kitchen lights.

Kim Ji-won was preparing freshly squeezed juice on the side. The refreshing aroma of oranges and the warm fragrance of noodles intertwined, creating a scene full of life.

She would occasionally glance at him as he busied himself, a gentle smile always playing on her lips.

The noodles are ready, with a clear broth, a golden poached egg, and a few sprigs of bright green vegetables garnishing the dish—simple yet reminiscent of home.

The two sat at the dining table, sweetly sharing the steaming bowl of noodles. Kim Ji-won praised it repeatedly, making Oh Sunny feel extremely accomplished.

The warm aftertaste of breakfast hadn't even faded when the production team's task card arrived at the perfect time: "Congratulations to Guangyuan and his wife on their successful proposal! As a couple preparing for marriage, before taking romantic wedding photos, shouldn't you formally introduce each other to your most important family and friends beforehand?"

The task surprised them both for a moment, then they looked at each other and smiled; it was indeed a good suggestion.

"Then...should I call my brothers over?" Ou Yangguang asked tentatively, his eyes filled with a mixture of expectation and slyness.

Kim Ji-won smiled and nodded: "Okay, then I'll call you Soo-jung, Sulli, and... Yoon-ha unnie!"
