It’s 8:10 and there are still 50 minutes until the vocal lesson.
Ouyang Guang walked towards the acting classroom. He had no time to choose this course at the moment, but teacher Li Zaiye insisted that he practice the emotional outburst lines for ten minutes every day.
"Your expressions and lines are too stiff," Teacher Li always said. "The stage is not just about dancing and singing. You have to learn to tell stories with your whole body."
Ouyang Guang pushed open the door of the acting class, his blond hair shone with a light golden luster in the morning light. He took a deep breath and walked to the center of the classroom and stood still. Days of line practice made his scalp tingle - "I hate it! I hate myself! I hate this world!"
"What the hell is this line!" Ouyang Guang suddenly had the urge to hit someone!
If Lee Jae-yeol hadn't asked for daily dialogue practice and recordings for him to check, he would have turned around and left immediately!
It’s so embarrassing...Ouyang Guang stood in the middle of the empty classroom, feeling the tips of his ears slightly hot.
He cleared his throat and tried to calm down.
"I hate it!" His voice was trembling at first, "I hate myself! I hate this world!..."
Not enough, not enough at all. Ouyang Guang scratched his hair irritably, and the golden hair slipped through his fingers.
Teacher Li once said that an emotional outburst is not about yelling, but about letting the audience feel the tearing in your heart.
Ouyang Guang closed his eyes and imagined himself standing on the stage, with the spotlight shining on him and countless pairs of expectant eyes in the audience.
Thinking back to the discussions, sarcasm, ridicule, hostile looks and voices over the past month...
"I hate it!" This time, his voice was trembling with real emotion. "I hate myself for being so weak! I hate this world for being so unfair!"
"Snap, snap, snap, snap—"
Sudden applause broke out in the empty classroom.
Ouyang Guang suddenly opened his eyes, and saw a slender figure standing at the door of the classroom - a black-haired boy standing at the door with a schoolbag on his back.
He was extremely handsome—his nose was so high and straight that it looked like it had been carved with a knife, and his jawline was so clean and sharp that it looked like a close-up in a comic book.
At this moment, he was holding a lollipop in his mouth. The yellow sugar ball was faintly visible between his lips, and it made a slight "click" sound from time to time as his tongue flicked it.
"Snap, snap, snap—"
The crisp applause was particularly piercing in the empty classroom. The boy slowly put down his hand, and the plastic stick of the lollipop swayed gently between his lips, reflecting the honey-like luster in the sun.
He tilted his head to look at Ouyang Guang. His thick eyelashes cast a small shadow on his eyelids, but it couldn't hide the mischief flashing in his eyes. There was a naughty smile on the corner of his mouth.
"It really makes me want to punch him!" Ouyang Guang loosened his wrist.
"Wow~ big deal!" the boy walked in with a long tone, his eyes shining with cunning light under his black bangs, "My name is Wu Xun, born in 1994~" He deliberately added an umlaut to his age, and twirled the headphone wire hanging around his neck with his fingers, "Are you the new golden retriever?"
"No one taught you that," Ouyang Guang frowned, licked his canine teeth with the tip of his tongue and said, "Do you need to knock on the door before entering?"
"Wow, you have quite a temper~" Wu Xun was not scared away, but moved closer, so close that Ouyang Guang could almost smell the sweet and sour scent of the lollipop.
"But I heard your roar in the corridor ~ little brother ~" He spoke deliberately word by word, the sense of superiority of the 94-year-old was evident in his words.
Ouyang Guang's blond hair almost exploded: "Who is your brother?"
"If a kid born in 1995 is not a younger brother, then what is he?" Wu Xun shook his head proudly. As he moved, the lollipop slid from the left corner of his mouth to the side of his mouth, and a small bump appeared on his cheek.
He suddenly reached out and poked Ouyangguang's cheek, "Wow, it's really puffy, like a little golden retriever with its hair standing on end~"
"Boring!" Ouyang Guang slapped his hand away, but the other party dodged it flexibly.
Ouyang Guang grabbed his backpack and was about to leave, but Wu Xun stopped him with his leg.
"Call me Brother Xun and I'll let you go~" The black-haired boy smiled mischievously.
"Childish! Get out of the way!"
"Then I'm going to tell everyone—" Wu Yuxun suddenly raised his voice, "Little Ouyangguang cried while reciting his lines in the acting class~"
"You!" Ouyang Guang grabbed his collar angrily, but heard footsteps coming from the corridor.
Jin Junmyeon appeared at the door, watching the two men fighting, and sighed helplessly: "Baixun, are you bullying the newcomer again?"
"No!" Wu Xun immediately pretended to be innocent, "I was joking with Yangguang! Right, Ouyang Guangdi?" He took advantage of Ouyang's distraction, broke free flexibly, hid behind Jin Junmyeon and made a face.
Ouyang Guang's golden hair almost stood up in anger, but the bell rang in time. He glared at Wu Xun fiercely and rushed to the vocal classroom without looking back.
Wu Xun's proud voice came from behind: "I'm here to check homework at this time today~ Little Golden Retriever~"
Ouyangguang decided to lock the door in advance every day.
