Chapter 48 A Small Gift (2/2)

Soon, the final chorus began. Ouyang Guang put on a uniform family T-shirt and stood in the corner of the last row. When the music started, he swayed gently to the rhythm, his eyes unconsciously sweeping across the audience, looking for fans and family members.

"What are you looking at?" Sister Victoria Song beside me asked in a low voice.

Ouyang Guang shook his head slightly: "Nothing." But the corners of his mouth raised a slight arc.

Although he couldn't see the exact location, he knew that someone in the audience must be watching him at this moment.

After the concert, Ouyangguang politely said goodbye to the staff one by one, reported to sister Minzhi, and then hurried towards the exit.

As soon as I turned the corner of the passage, I heard a loud and angry shout: "Brother! This way!"

He saw a girl with a high ponytail rushing towards him like a gust of wind. She suddenly stopped two steps away from him, but still leaned forward due to inertia.

Ouyangguang opened his arms reflexively and caught his sister who was rushing towards him.

"Oh! I haven't seen you for more than half a month. You've grown taller!" Ouyang Guang smiled and rubbed Chang'an's hair, but she dodged it flexibly.

Changan stood up straight, almost as tall as his shoulders, wearing a simple white T-shirt and denim overalls.

"I'm thirteen years old, okay!" Changan pouted, but immediately smiled again, his eyes curved into crescents, "Brother, you look so handsome when you play the drums! The girls in our class all asked me if they could get your autograph!"

Ouyang Guang didn't have time to respond...

"Xiao Guang..." Mom came over and looked at him with a distressed look, her eyes slightly red, "You've lost so much weight..."

Ouyangguang shook his head gently: "I have grown taller, but I am in good health." He even deliberately flexed his arm muscles to show his mother, "Look, they are strong."

"Come on," Chen Zheng interrupted, taking his backpack, "Who was doing homework in the car in the last video?"

He Zilin smiled and handed over a cup of honey grapefruit tea: "Here, I saved this for you. Don't just give it to others without drinking it yourself."

Ouyang Guang took the grapefruit tea, and the coolness spread through the cup wall to his palm. He took a big sip and squinted his eyes in satisfaction: "It tastes good." After a pause, he asked again: "Have those snacks... been delivered?"

"Of course," He Ziqi shook his phone, "I also secretly took a few photos. Those fans almost cried when they received the gifts, and kept asking the staff if you really paid attention to them."

Ouyang Guang's ears turned red again. He lowered his head and drank a sip of milk tea to hide his embarrassment: "They... came from far away..."

His mother looked at him tenderly and said softly, "You did the right thing. You should be grateful." She patted Ouyangguang.

"Come on, the car is waiting. The hotel has prepared dinner, all of which are your favorite dishes."

The night breeze was cool. Ouyang Guang was among his family and friends, listening to their conversations.

Chen Zheng described the highlights of the concert performance, He Zilin supplemented the reactions of the fans in the audience, Changan chattered about his expectations for Disney, and his mother gently reminded everyone to watch the road from time to time.

Ouyang Guang listened quietly, occasionally responding a few words, but his heart was filled with an unprecedented sense of satisfaction.

The applause on the stage, the sweat in the practice room, the loneliness in a foreign country...all of these contributed to the most solid warmth at this moment.

"Where do you want to go today?" Mom asked me.

Ouyang Guang thought for a moment and said, "Let's go to the Bund first. I haven't been to see the Oriental Pearl Tower for a long time."

"Then let's go to Chenghuang Temple to eat xiaolongbao!" Chang'an raised his hand excitedly.

"Okay, okay, I'll listen to you." Mom responded with a smile.

Looking at the smiling faces of his family and friends under the street lights, Ouyang Guang suddenly felt that the word "dream" was no longer so far away. With the support and companionship of so many people, no matter how far the road is, he can continue to move forward step by step.
