Amid the applause, Ouyang Guang saw Kim Jong-ho's tense shoulders finally relax, and Kim Moon-kyu quietly stuffed the sweaty music score into his guitar bag.
Lee Soo Man took off his glasses and scanned everyone behind the lenses: "The company has decided that M1 will be officially released in May or June 2011."
The cheers instantly blew away the ceiling of the examination room, and everyone was in high spirits and very excited!
But in the crowd, Ouyang Guang noticed that Jin Junmyeon's smile seemed a little strange.
Ouyang Guang and his group happily went to their own training room.
"Let's go to a dinner party! We have to celebrate!" Park Chanyeol clapped his hands excitedly.
The cheers that erupted in the training room were so loud that they overturned the ceiling. Wu Xixun and Liu Qiangxiu threw their towels directly into the air. Zhang Yixing and Kim Jong-ho danced freely to the music. Even the usually calm Wu Yifan, Cao Zhenhao, and Kim Moon-kyu couldn't help but cheer with clenched fists.
Kim Junmyeon stood in the center of the crowd, a smile on his lips, but a gloom in his eyes that was imperceptible to others.
It was already pitch dark when everyone rushed into the barbecue restaurant they often visited.
The meat on the grill was sizzling with oil, and Park Chanyeol held up a Coke and poured it out to everyone: "On the day we get released, we're going to hold a celebration party that's ten times more luxurious than this!"
Zhang Yixing picked up the golden roasted pork belly and put it into Ouyang Guang's bowl, smiling and admonishing: "Eat more, you have lost weight recently."
Ouyang Guang chewed the tender meat, but his eyes drifted to Jin Junmyeon who was looking down in a daze.
When the show was over, the cold wind blew snowflakes on my face. Ouyang Guang pulled Zhang Yixing's clothes and said, "Brother Yixing, please go to the training room first. I have something to do."
Watching Zhang Yixing nod and leave, he turned around and found Kim Junmyeon standing alone in a daze under the warm yellow light of the hotel.
Hearing the humming sound of the convenience store freezer, Kim Junmyeon was staring at his reflection in the glass door with a frown on his face.
"Brother Junmian," Ouyang Guang approached, the cold wind made him shrink his neck, "You seem a little strange, did something happen?"
Jin Junmyeon turned his head and forced a smile, but it was uglier than crying: "I'm fine, just a little tired."
Ouyang Guang refused to give up and took a step forward: "Don't lie to me. You have been worried since you heard the news of your departure."
"Xiao Guang, do you know the rules of my university?" Seeing Ouyang Guang shaking his head, Jin Junmian took a deep breath and said in a low and hoarse voice, "The school does not allow students to leave during school. In order to stand on the M1 stage with everyone... I want to decide to drop out."
Ouyang Guang was shocked and finally understood Junmian's dilemma.
He recalled running into Kim Junmyeon in the locker room late last week, memorizing his lines with notes and bookmarks stuck in the corners of his textbook.
Recalling that he was always the first one to arrive at the training room, he would often take time to study with his textbooks.
The scenes of racing against time to review lessons during breaks in training flashed through my mind like a revolving lantern.
"But dropping out of school... is not a small matter." He couldn't help but say.
Jin Junmyeon looked towards the company's training room in the distance, his eyes firm but with a hint of regret: "Compared to my studies, I don't want to let everyone down, and I don't want to miss this opportunity to realize my dreams with you."
As the night deepened and the cold wind whistled past, Ouyang Guang looked at the frail figure in front of him and suddenly understood the weight of this decision.
The snow was getting heavier and heavier, falling on their shoulders. When they heard the ding-dong sound of the automatic door of the store opening and closing, Ouyang Guang suddenly reached out and hugged Jin Junmian: "Junmian brother, no matter what decision you make, we support you. No matter what, we will be by your side."
Jin Junmyeon froze for a moment, then gently patted Ouyangguang's back, his voice filled with relief and determination: "With you guys around, I have nothing to fear."
The two walked side by side towards the training room, the street lights behind them stretching their shadows very long.
The lights in the training room in the distance were still on, like stars that never go out in the dark night.
This night is a choice between dreams and price. Some people choose to give up their dreams, but the bond of the team will become the force that supports them to move forward.
