The opening ceremony transitioned smoothly, followed by a grand stage performance.
The first to perform was the rookie boy group BTS, whose powerful performance showcased the impact of the new generation; followed by a rookie girl group, whose sweet and cool style brought a refreshing breeze. Next, the boy group VIXX delivered a dark and alluring performance, and then Crayon Pop's hit song "Bar Bar Bar" instantly ignited the atmosphere, with its simple, repetitive dance moves and catchy melody getting many audience members moving along with the rhythm.
After the stage performance ended, the camera cut back to the host's podium.
When the camera panned to the three MCs, Kim Heechul was already imitating Crayon Pop's iconic "cylinder dance," hopping up and down like a rabbit, showing no airs of a senior and displaying great variety show talent. Jessica Jung and Oh Yang-yang, seeing this, quickly followed suit with smiles, making cute hopping movements, creating a harmonious and amusing scene.
