"When will I be able to skate as well as you..." Kim Ji-won said wistfully.
"Practice a few more times, and you'll get it quickly. Maybe next time we can ski down the intermediate slope together," Ou Yangguang encouraged.
"Really? It's a promise!" Kim Ji-won immediately held out her finger to make a pinky promise.
“It’s a date.” Ou Yangguang also extended his gloved fingers and hooked them together. The two looked at each other and smiled, as if pink bubbles were floating in the air.
The morning's lessons and practice concluded in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The production team arranged lunch at a scenic restaurant within the ski resort, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the continuous ski runs and snow-capped mountains.
The hot army stew for lunch was steaming, with kimchi, luncheon meat, rice cakes, and ramen bubbling in the rich red broth, dispelling the chill from skiing.
Ou Yangguang and Kim Ji-won sat facing each other, chatting about the interesting things that happened that morning while eating, separated by the rising steam.
"How did Ah-Guang learn to ski? It doesn't seem to snow in Shenzhen," Kim Ji-won asked curiously, picking up a piece of tofu.
“Yes, it doesn’t snow. Because I love snow, my family goes to a snowy city every year!” Ou Yangguang naturally used serving chopsticks to put Kim Ji-won’s favorite luncheon meat on her plate.
After having lunch and replenishing their energy, the two rested for a while before returning to the ski resort. The afternoon sun cast a pale golden hue on the snow, and the temperature seemed a little warmer than in the morning.
The two practiced skiing at the ski resort, rode snow tubes, had a snowball fight, and built a snowman, their laughter never ceasing.
As the sun gradually set, the two changed out of their ski suits, put on their thick down jackets, and strolled around the resort.
For dinner, we went to a mountaintop restaurant. We sat in a spot with a superb view, overlooking the dazzling lights below and the faintly visible ski slopes stretching into the distance, enjoying an exquisite Western meal in a romantic and tranquil atmosphere.
They chatted about their recent lives and the fun things that happened during filming. When they quieted down, they didn't feel awkward at all; they just enjoyed the food and the company of each other.
On the way back from filming, Kim Ji-won seemed a little tired, and her head unconsciously rested on Oh Yang-kong's shoulder. Oh Yang-kong immediately relaxed his shoulder, adjusted his position to make her more comfortable, and didn't wake her up.
The streetlights outside the car window flashed by like streaks of light, casting intermittent shadows on his calm profile.
The van first took Kim Ji-won to her residence. Before getting out of the car, Kim Ji-won rubbed her eyes, still a little dazed: "Kwang, are we there yet?"
"Okay, go upstairs quickly and get some sleep." Ou Yangguang instructed, then took a woolen hat from the car and gently put it on her head. "It's cold at night, wear it."
"Yes~" Kim Ji-won adjusted her hat, smiled sweetly, and leaned in to kiss Oh Sunny's lips. "You should get some rest too, goodnight!"
"good evening."
The car restarted and drove towards EXO's dormitory.
Lee Seung-hwan turned around from the front row and saw SUN's blank smile, and joked, "Looks like you had a lot of fun recording today, SUN."
Ou Yangguang snapped out of his reverie, smiled, and didn't deny it: "Yes, it was a very good day."
