The second half of the show continued to generate waves of excitement from the audience. Nearly two hours later, the energy on stage showed no signs of waning.
Another stage began amidst the fans' anticipation: SHINee and EXO's collaboration performance, "Everybody."
The stage lights suddenly blazed on, and all the members of the two groups appeared on stage, dressed in matching all-black suits, like an army emerging from the night, perfectly aligned and exuding a powerful aura.
When the highly recognizable and rhythmic music of "Everybody" begins, the visual impact of the massive lineup of nearly twenty people is astonishing.
When the members of SHINee and EXO performed dance moves together on stage, their synchronized movements and powerful energy stunned the entire audience. The stage was completely dominated by the strong rhythm and explosive energy, and the cheers from the fans below were incredibly loud.
After performing "Everybody," EXO quickly and orderly left the stage, leaving it to SHINee for their subsequent performance.
Time flew by amidst a series of spectacular performances. After several more stages, some heartfelt and others electrifying, the final group to headline the show was Girls' Generation.
When the nine members appeared on stage in gorgeous and sparkly costumes, they were greeted by a deafening roar of screams.
They performed "Express 999" and "I Got A Boy" in succession. The former was upbeat and energetic, while the latter was a hit song of the year with a variety of styles and a strong sense of patchwork. The complex choreography, varied formations, and the members' skillful stage performances showcased the charm of the "Empresses" to the fullest.
This sparked a massive sing-along from the entire audience, creating a warm and moving atmosphere.
Girls' Generation's performance brought the atmosphere to a fever pitch. Then, the stage lights dimmed, and the large screen slowly lit up.
The video being played is the music video for "YOU are a miracle," a large-scale charity project that was highlighted by the three MCs earlier. It was recorded by 126 K-POP singers from 34 groups who voluntarily participated in the recording.
A soothing and hopeful melody flowed out, and the faces of each singer participating in the project appeared on the screen one by one, from respected seniors to rising stars. There were no glamorous sets or complicated special effects, only sincere faces and beautiful voices coming together.
The lyrics conveyed warmth, hope, and gratitude, and the scene of the singers standing side by side, smiling and singing together was particularly touching. The audience watched quietly, many moved by this pure sentiment.
All the artists who performed at tonight's SBS Gayo Daejeon began to walk orderly onto the main stage from the sides and back of the stage. Apart from the three Ouyang Yang and the two MCs, Kim Heechul, most of the other artists, regardless of gender or seniority, changed into various winter outfits such as white sweaters, white pants, and scarves in red and other colors.
In an instant, the stage transformed into a warm scene, with everyone filling the entire spacious stage, creating a spectacular yet heartwarming atmosphere.
At the same time, the device at the top of the stage was activated, and countless small gold and silver sequins slowly drifted down from the sky, sparkling under the lights, like a dreamy and grand snowfall in winter.
Sequins landed on the artists' white sweaters, on their hair and shoulders, and on their smiling faces.
Jessica Jung, now wearing the same performance outfit, returned to the front of the stage. Looking at the spectacular scene, she exclaimed, "Wow, it really is like a miracle."
Ou Yang's eyes sparkled: "Because of the music, because of everyone, tonight's miracle happened." Standing beside the two seniors, watching the "snowflakes" slowly falling from the sky, and looking at the fans below the stage who kept holding up support signs and cheering and screaming for him, his heart was filled with indescribable emotions.
As the music drew to a close, the three hosts led the audience in a countdown. On stage, over a hundred artists exchanged smiles, swaying gently to the rhythm and waving their arms, blending seamlessly with the sea of light sticks below.
"10, 9, 8... 3, 2, 1!"
"The 2013 SBS Gayo Daejeon has come to a successful conclusion! Thank you everyone! Happy New Year!"
The final cheers echoed throughout the venue, and the golden sequins rained down even faster, enveloping the entire stage in a magnificent and romantic halo.
The camera panned across every face filled with joy and emotion, finally settling on the three MCs standing side by side.
