The next day.
After hearing Su Jin recount what happened last night, Lin Shi's face darkened. "You let your obedient boyfriend seduce that thing that's either human or ghost? Are you out of your mind...?"
Su Jin denied it, saying, "I was just thinking about it; I didn't actually send him."
"This is enough to hurt someone's feelings. You've done everything that hurts men."
What are you talking about?
An untimely voice interrupted their conversation.
Su Jin retorted bluntly, "What's it to you?"
Gu Xingze lay on the table, grumbling, "Didn't you say we could still be friends even if we broke up? Is this how you treat your friends?"
"You also said you wouldn't bother me anymore. Do you need me to help you remember?"
He stopped talking.
Ye Shuwei sat down next to them. "Sigh, I'm so envious that you all know each other. As for me... I feel like he's not quite mentally stable."
Ye Shuwei was referring to her male guest, Zhou Shichuan.
He was practically invisible all day yesterday; he was like a quail in front of Gu Xingze.
Su Jin asked, "Why do you say that?"
Ye Shuwei covered her mouth. "When I try to talk to him, he won't say anything. He just keeps looking at you in a gloomy way... You should stay away from him."
Her words piqued Su Jin's interest.
While everyone was preparing breakfast, she secretly slipped away.
When Zhou Shichuan ran into Su Jin, he quickly put on a gentle and polite smile.
"Sister, what's wrong? Why are you leaving in such a hurry?"
Su Jin took in his expression.
It's no wonder they're related by blood; they change their tune just as quickly.
"Nothing, I just want to go to my room to get my things."
Zhou Shichuan showed enthusiasm, "Is it heavy? Let me help you."
Su Jin declined, saying, "If it's too heavy, I'll have Shen Yanxiu help me."
Zhou Shichuan subtly revealed his disappointment.
"I know you have a boyfriend, but having a boyfriend doesn't mean you can't have male friends. Or is it that your boyfriend is too controlling?"
Su Jin thought to herself, "What a low-level tactic of sowing discord."
"It's none of your business."
Now that she had figured out what kind of person he was, Su Jin didn't need to deal with him anymore.
Back at the restaurant, the director announced, "Everyone will make a dish, and then everyone else will taste it. The group that can successfully match the dishes wins."
Lin Shi slowly turned her head to look at Su Jin.
Why are you looking at me?
"It's nothing, just please go easy on me."
[Outer packaging contains carcinogenic substances; inner packaging contains Salmonella]
[I strongly suspect the director did this on purpose]
The director and the guest must have an irreconcilable feud.
If Su Jin were to perform at her normal level, a large number of people would die here.
The guests took turns entering the kitchen to cook.
The prepared dishes were covered with opaque lids until everyone gathered at the restaurant.
Lifting the lid reveals fried rice, scrambled eggs with tomatoes...
There was also a plate of some kind of weird stuff...
Lin Shi leaned closer to examine it, "Isn't it obvious who did this at a glance?"
The director shook his head. "Even if you recognize them, you still have to take a bite."
[It was intentional on the director's part, absolutely]

Before any of them could react, Gu Xingze picked up his chopsticks and took a big bite.
"?"
"Is something bothering you, child?"
Gu Xingze said proudly with a smile, "I'll eat first, Jinjin, you choose me quickly."
Su Jin didn't know whether she should call him a pervert or not, afraid that he would get a thrill from it.
"I don't know what dish you made."
Su Jin picked up her chopsticks and tasted each one.
Two dishes stood out, but Su Jin couldn't tell which one was made by Shen Yanxiu and which one by Gu Xingze.
She randomly picked one and looked up to see their reactions.
Gu Xingze's smile only widened.
She thought to herself, "It's over."
"Director! Do we count as a successful pairing?" Gu Xingze asked the camera excitedly.
Under Su Jin's murderous glare, the director nodded, "Yes..."
Su Jin glared angrily at the director, "You'd better not close your eyes when you sleep at night."
[Director, danger!]
Su Jin hugged Shen Yanxiu with a mournful face, "I didn't mean to."
Shen Yanxiu patted her back, "It's okay, it's okay, as long as you're happy."
"I'm not happy."
Su Jin glanced at Gu Xingze's cheap look, then looked away. "How could I be happy with him?"
Shen Yanxiu laughed, "Are you happy being with me?"
"Of course."
Shen Yanxiu sighed and buried his face in her neck. "That's enough, Ajin. That's enough."
Surprisingly, Luo Feifei and Shen Yanxiu were paired up.
"Teacher Shen, you're together again."
Shen Yanxiu kept his head down, seemingly lost in thought, and ignored her.
The director clapped his hands, "Everyone, come and eat! There will be some games waiting for you after you finish eating."
Gu Xingze eagerly served Su Jin some food, saying, "Try this, it looks good."
"Get out of my way, don't I have hands? Can't you use your own hands?"
Su Jin avoided him like the plague.
Gu Xingze reluctantly withdrew his hand, and as if to show his loyalty, he ate the dish Su Jin had made with all his might.
So Su Jin's dish was the first to empty.
My ex-husband is really going all out; he's risking his life.
Uncle, please don't eat anymore, I'm scared.
Eat slowly, no one's going to take it from you.
[That's not necessarily true. I feel like Brother Shen also wants some, but he can't compete with her ex-husband.]
After finishing Su Jin's plate of unidentified food, Gu Xingze felt his stomach rumbling.
