With a thud, she threw her chopsticks on the table. This time, Huan Aoqian's hand trembled, and the chicken leg she was holding fell back into the bowl.
He looked at Song Xiwei in confusion, and Song Xiwei suddenly curled her lips into a somewhat wicked smile.
"Is there anything else you want to eat? I'll put everything on your plate!"
As the rain intensified, Song Xiwei noticed that Meng Shu looked unwell and suggested that they stay overnight at the inn and set off again the next day.

Aoqian remained silent and quietly stayed there, but his eyes were filled with resentment, and his whole being exuded a strong sense of grievance, as if Song Xiwei had done something to him.
Song Xi looked at him with amusement: "You've been with Meng Shu all this time, and you're still feeling wronged? How old are you? He's younger than you!"
"I'm targeting him! What? Is that not allowed?" Ao Qian suddenly confronted Song Xiwei angrily. "Don't forget you're my subordinate. You're always protecting an outsider. You're betraying your own people!"
