A short while later, Aoqian came out holding a cloak.
Song Xiwei: "..."
Aoqian saw her staring blankly at him and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that? Are you really hungry? Then, you go back inside and stay there. We're not going out for some fresh air."
Song Xiwei's mind raced, and she asked, "Do you want to come with me?"
"Otherwise what?" Ao Qian rolled his eyes at her.
Song Xi grinned and said, "Let's go together! The scenery in this town is quite nice. It's been raining a lot before, so I haven't had a chance to see it. Once I feel better, I should leave."
"Mmm." Ao Qian gently draped a cloak over her shoulders. As he tied the sash, Song Xiwei realized that she had naturally let Ao Qian do all of this.
Realizing she hadn't made Aoqian wear shoes earlier, she ended up making him do all this anyway...
I can't quite put my finger on what's strange, but I feel like I haven't paid much attention to these kinds of things, and I've actually gotten used to them.
She had some doubts in her heart, and perhaps they were also showing on her face, which prompted Aoqian to ask, "I already promised you you could go out for some fresh air, why aren't you happy?"
"You cook for me every day and even brew medicine for me. From a complete novice who couldn't cook at all, you've now become a master chef. You also take such good care of me by helping me put on my shoes and add clothes. You're so considerate to me," Song Xiwei said to Aoqian.

“There’s no need,” Ao Qian said.
Song Xiwei looked confused. "What?"
“There’s no need to feel bad. You don’t have to do anything. Just being by my side and watching over you is enough for me,” Ao Qian said.
Song Xiwei: "???" Why did her heart feel a little hot when she heard Aoqian say that? A strange feeling was spreading through her.
"I've said it before, I like your kindness. As long as you're by my side, I'll always be influenced by your kindness and learn from you to be a kind person, at least not going down the path predicted." Aoqian thought Song Xiwei's expression was blank but very cute, and couldn't help but pinch her nose.
Her nose was small and delicate, but her skin was very tender; it turned red when touched lightly.
"Lord Song, Lord Aoqian, are you going out?" Meng Shu's voice suddenly broke the strange atmosphere between the two.
Song Xiwei breathed a sigh of relief.
It's strange. My heart started racing when Aoqian touched my nose just now. Also, Aoqian's words make me feel dizzy.
Song Xiwei felt an urgent need to go out and get some fresh air, to see different people, and to stop spending time alone with Aoqian like this.
Meng Shu's appearance brought Song Xi a slight sense of relief, but it caused Ao Qian's face to darken.
Aoqian had always been averse to Meng Shu's attempts to get close to Song Xiwei, and had never given him a kind look.
“Yes, we’re going out. Your Highness Meng Shu, would you like to come along?” Song Xiwei ignored Ao Qian’s cold face. She couldn’t wait to have someone with her. Being alone with Ao Qian just didn’t feel right.
