The door was pushed open as soon as the message was sent.
Aoqian rushed over anxiously, looking her over. "What's wrong? Are you...are you feeling unwell?"
Aoqian's face turned pale, as if he had been frightened.
Song Xiwei hurriedly explained to Ao Qian, "Yes, there is a strange thing..."
She got out of bed and pulled Aoqian to sit down, feeling a little guilty because Aoqian seemed so frightened that his whole body was stiff.
"I had a dream. In my dream, there was a little dog..." She told Aoqian about her strange dream.
After he finished speaking, Ao Qian did not react for a long time.
Aoqian had his head down, his ears were red, and his hands were on his knees but clenched into fists, as if he was suppressing some emotion.
"Young Master? Does your Chidu have demonic hounds?" Song Xi asked tentatively.
Aoqian's heart was about to leap out of his chest.
As expected, he felt guilty.
His actions while Song Xiwei was asleep were indeed impossible to conceal or hide from anyone.
Did Song Xiwei sense something? Was she testing her?
He desperately wanted to admit that he had done it.
But what was his reason for doing this after he fell asleep?
I had done this with Song Xiwei many times before, and there were even times when it was so intense that we bit and nibbled.
But in those cases, there were always reasons, legitimate reasons that wouldn't arouse her suspicion.
So, what about now?
What was his reasoning?
Taking advantage of someone while they're asleep?
Aoqian himself felt that he was very despicable.
If Song Xiwei knew about his actions, she would probably be disgusted with him.
The sadness in Aoqian's heart spread inch by inch.
Aoqian himself was well aware of his own despicable nature and that he had no grounds for argument.
Unfortunately, he couldn't control himself at all.
Song Xiwei, who would never leave him and quietly stayed in the area where he had slept, seemed to truly belong to him.
At that moment, he inexplicably did it.
Now that Song Xiwei has asked him about it, he really doesn't know how to face her.
That was his heart stirring, an irresistible urge, an undeniable flutter of emotion...
He was truly at a loss, in pain and helpless.
In everyone's eyes, he was a cold-hearted, ruthless, and heartless person.
But the one who fell in love was the most ordinary and powerless person.
In front of someone you like, all pretense and all additional conditions are useless.
"Young Master? Your head has been buried in your knees for almost half an hour. Doesn't your neck get sore?" No matter how slow-witted Song Xiwei was, no matter how much she wanted to ask Aoqian for confirmation, she felt that Aoqian's behavior was too strange.
Upon hearing this, Aoqian finally stirred and raised his head, but quickly looked away, avoiding eye contact with her.
Song Xiwei: "???" Look at Aoqian's reaction, avoiding her like the plague.
She felt confused and somewhat annoyed.
"You've stopped getting angry, but you haven't shown up for three days. I finally managed to get you here by telepathy, and you didn't even look me in the eye. Young Master, what's wrong with you this time? Can't we get along peacefully and communicate properly? I've been talking for a long time, and you still haven't answered me. If you don't want to answer me, I can go ask someone else."
Aoqian turned around in a panic and met Song Xiwei's somewhat helpless gaze.
Song Xiwei was taken aback when she saw Ao Qian's shifty and evasive gaze.
The guilt in Aoqian's eyes was almost overflowing.
What wrong thing did he do? Why is he so guilty?
Could it be that Aoqian deliberately released that puppy?
Otherwise, he has no reason to be so guilty, right?
Moreover, the fact that Aoqian hasn't dared to look at me for so long means he must be hiding something.
"I, I... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that..." Aoqian resigned himself to his fate. He knew that Song Xiwei wasn't just doubting, she was already certain that he was the one who did it.
Since there's no way to avoid it, and I don't want to avoid it, I might as well just accept it.
