Chapter 488 Feeding

"Are we going to argue again?" Song Xi looked at Ao Qian with a slight smile.

"Are you getting impatient again?" Aoqian retorted.

Song Xi chuckled. "Your Majesty, how old are you? You should be growing up. Can't you tell the difference between good and bad words? If I were really impatient, I wouldn't let you argue with me; I would have just left."

"Oh." Aoqian lowered his head.

"Is that all? His Majesty was so angry yesterday, and he wouldn't even give me anything to eat. He was so fierce..." Song Xi sighed as she recounted Ao Qian's misdeeds from yesterday.

Aoqian was already completely broken down, so he couldn't hold back any longer. "Do you have to bring up old grievances? Are we even talking about making up or not?"

Song Xi narrowed his eyes and said slyly, "That depends on whether Your Majesty's bribe is enough to satisfy me."

“Who wants to bribe you!” Ao Qian exclaimed.

"Your Majesty just said you didn't want me to leave and wanted me to stay, and you even told me to take it seriously. Now that I've taken it seriously, I've given Your Majesty a way out. Why doesn't Your Majesty want to honor your promise?" Song Xiwei teased. "Actually, the bribe I want isn't difficult. I just want to eat a hot meal made by Your Majesty yourself. I didn't get to eat a single bite yesterday."

Ao Qian felt a sharp pain in his heart when he thought about yesterday.

Realizing he had gone too far, he said, "I'll go do it. You wait here for me, or should we go back to the room first?"

I thought Aoqian would argue a bit more, but to my surprise, he actually agreed.

"His Majesty said yesterday that he won't make it for me anymore..." Song Xi said weakly.

“You don’t have to take that seriously.” Aoqian saw that Song Xiwei’s eyes were red, but he had long since stopped caring. “From now on, if I’m going to cook, it will only be for you, Song Xiwei.”

After finishing his sentence, Aoqian left.

Instead, Song Xiwei was left standing at the door, completely bewildered.

Did she hear that right?

Aoqian actually said that he would cook for her from now on?

Can this be taken seriously?

And what about that person you love?

Wouldn't Aoqian cook for that person?

Song Xiwei always thought that Aoqian was cooking for her to please his sweetheart and was just practicing his cooking skills.

Unexpectedly, Aoqian said he would only make it for himself.

Song Xiwei's heart was pounding wildly.

She hadn't calmed down by the time Aoqian returned with the delicious food.

"Time is short, so I can only make a few simple ones. I'll make the rest later." Aoqian set out the chopsticks, noticing that Song Xiwei was still standing there motionless.

"What? Do I have to feed you?" Ao Qian smiled. "It's not that I can't. I've already made it for you myself, so it's no big deal to feed you myself. In that case, come sit here."

Song Xiwei didn't hear carefully what Aoqian said.

All she knew was that Aoqian told her to sit down.

So she obediently sat down next to Aoqian.

Then, before she could even pick up her chopsticks, she saw Aoqian remove the fish bones, pick up some fish meat, and feed it to her.

Song Xiwei's eyes widened, her face completely bewildered.

Ao Qian smiled and said to her, "Open your mouth!"

Song Xiwei opened her mouth in a daze.

The fish was fresh and tender, and tasted wonderful.

"Is it delicious?" Seeing Song Xiwei's satisfied and blissful expression, Aoqian asked with a smile.

Song Xi nodded slightly, her eyes shining as she pointed to the other dishes.

"And, um, um, I want to eat all of that." Song Xiwei had forgotten that she could use her chopsticks to pick up food.

Surprisingly, after being fed a bite of fish by Aoqian, she didn't react and instead spoke directly to Aoqian.

Aoqian didn't feel anything was wrong at all; he fed Song Xiwei whichever one she pointed to.

Aoqian fed Song Xiwei the entire meal, bite by bite.

It wasn't until Song Xiwei let out several burps and patted her stomach contentedly that she vaguely realized that Ao Qian had actually fed her a whole table of food.

Suddenly realizing something, Song Xiwei became anxious and uneasy. "Your Majesty, tell me honestly, after this meal, will I have another meal?"
