Chapter 894 Forgotten

"Where did you throw it? Where did you throw it?"

Song Xi glared at Wu Lai and questioned him, "If you don't tell me where you threw him, I won't go with you!"

"You can't swim, are you going to jump into the river to save him? Is he worth risking your life to save?" Wu Lai looked at her helplessly.

“All I know is that he wasn’t that bad, and he certainly didn’t deserve to die. I can’t accept your behavior of throwing him into the river without even asking what happened. Since you won’t tell me where you threw him, I’ll go find him myself. If I can’t find him, I’ll consider myself as someone who died for him. If you want to leave, then leave on your own.”

Song Xiwei was determined to go to the riverbank to find Aoqian, but before she could even get into the water, she suddenly found herself unable to move.

Wu Lai had somehow managed to pick Song Xiwei up. "Let me go!" she cried.

Wu Lai ignored Song Xiwei and activated the formation. Song Xiwei discovered that Wu Lai could actually fly through the clouds. In just a few breaths, she was taken away from Bibo Bay by Wu Lai.

Wu Lai took Song Xiwei back to the small town where they used to live.

The spell was not lifted for Song Xiwei, and she remained unable to move.

“Weiwei, from now on, no one will be able to disturb us. I will stay with you and forget everything related to Aoqian.”

As Wu said this, he took out a bottle from his sleeve, inside which was a pill. He shoved it directly into Song Xiwei's mouth, forcing her to swallow it.

Song Xiwei was powerless to resist and was forced to swallow the pill. She felt herself gradually losing strength and then fell into a deep sleep.

When Song Xiwei woke up again, she found Wu Lai watching over her by her bedside.

"Brother Wulai, what are you doing here?"

Song Xiwei felt as if she had forgotten something, but she couldn't quite remember it.

"Have you forgotten? We're getting married soon. I've come to deliver your wedding dress. Take a look and see if you like it."

As Wu said this, she took down the bright red wedding dress from the rack, saying, "You'll look beautiful in it."

Looking at the wedding dresses on the rack, Song Xiwei suddenly felt as if some image was about to pop into her mind, but she tried hard to think and recall it, yet she couldn't remember anything.

"Brother Wulai, why are we getting married? Do you like me?" Song Xi looked at Wulai with a puzzled expression and asked him.

Wu Lai paused for a moment when asked the question, then smiled and replied to Song Xiwei, "We were childhood sweethearts and have always been in love. Now that you have come of age, and I have waited for you for many years, it is only natural that we should get married."

"Are we compatible? So, you like me, and I like you too?" Song Xiwei looked at Wu Lai with a puzzled expression and asked him.

Wu Lai nodded, "Yes, we're compatible. You like me, and I like you too."

Song Xi, still slightly confused, asked Wu Lai again, "But I don't remember now. If I like you, what does it feel like? Why do I feel empty inside, a little sour, and a little sad, as if I've forgotten something very important..."

"No, you haven't forgotten anything. You're just tired. Take a nap. We'll get married tomorrow." Wu Lai tucked the blanket around Song Xiwei.

Song Xiwei closed her eyes and said, "Mmm."

Once Song Xiwei was completely asleep, Wu Lai got up and left.

Song Xiwei heard the door close, and she suddenly opened her eyes, her gaze clear and distinct from when she was in Wulai.

She extended her ring finger, as if searching for something...

...

The next day, when Wu Lai went to the room to look for Song Xiwei, Song Xiwei was not there, and the bed was cold, obviously Song Xiwei had already gotten up.

Meanwhile, Song Xiwei had already found the river by following the fragments of her memory.

“Aoqian, I don’t know what kind of feelings I have for you. Before, when you kidnapped me to Bibo Bay, I hated you. I remember the first time I opened my eyes and saw you, from amazement to dislike, and then later in Bibo Bay, you were such a quiet person. I asked you so many questions, and you could only say a few words. But I found that you are not a bad person at all. You just had no choice in the situation. Fate is just like that, playing tricks on people. I never thought that I would come to die for you. These past few days, I have been taken back by Wulai, and I dream about you every day. The river water must be cold. Do you feel lonely? Do you blame me for dragging you down? After all, if it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t have gone to save Wulai and been tricked by him to die here.”
