After two whole days of darkness and despair, Xie Huanyu drove to Qin Shengyi's residence as soon as she left the Xie residence, and ran into him right at the entrance of the community.
"Qin Shengyi, you're really something, daring to go and sow discord between my dad and me!" Xie Huanyu glared at Qin Shengyi with eyes wide with fury, her teeth clenched as she spoke.
Two days ago, she was called back by her father with a phone call. Before she could even ask anything, she was locked in the basement without any explanation.
It wasn't until she was released that her father explained that he had offended Qin Shengyi because he hadn't prioritized things, causing the company to miss out on an investment opportunity. That's why he had been taking these two days of slight precautions.
Unexpectedly, the other party continued to appear, and Qin Shengyi was stunned for a moment. Then she noticed that Xie Huanyu's face was extremely pale and her eyes were bloodshot.
So what's wrong with her?
Qin Shengyi was secretly puzzled, but quickly regained his composure and said coldly, "You're overthinking it."
"It was Chairman Xie who called to ask me to meet in person to discuss the financing. I took the opportunity to explain the situation to her."

She had known for a long time that Qin Shengyi was a scheming woman, but she never expected that the other party would dare to scheme against her like this.
Thinking back on the dark and dreary life she had spent in the basement these past two days, Xie Huanyu's eyes grew increasingly resentful. She pretended to be an innocent and virtuous woman in front of Xu Yanshu, yet she was scheming against her behind his back.
So what if it is?
Qin Shengyi neither confirmed nor denied this. She had come to cause him trouble time and time again before. Should he just keep putting up with it?
This reaction completely enraged Xie Huanyu, who was about to rush up and tear the other person apart, but was stopped by someone who grabbed her shoulder first.
Instinctively shielding Qin Shengyi behind him, Xu Yanshu looked at Xie Huanyu with a gloomy expression and coldly questioned, "What are you trying to do now?"
He was on his way to deliver something to Shengyi for Zhengyu when he unexpectedly saw this woman acting like a madwoman.
Looking at the man who stood resolutely in front of her, Qin Shengyi's eyes deepened unconsciously, and she pursed her lips without realizing it.
He always protected himself like this back in school.
Upon seeing the newcomer, Xie Huanyu became even more agitated, asking instead of answering, "How did you end up here? Did you two get together?"
"Xu Yanshu, don't forget, we're not divorced yet!"
“No one is as shameless as you,” Xu Yanshu narrowed his eyes unhappily and retorted coldly, “Please leave immediately, or I will call the police.”
Call the police?
Xie Huanyu laughed in anger, and seeing Xu Yanshu protecting Qin Shengyi behind him, she became even angrier.
Just as she was about to say something, she suddenly felt dizzy and lightheaded, and then her vision went black as she collapsed to the ground.
Xu Yanshu and Qin Shengyi were caught off guard and exchanged a puzzled look.
Xu Yanshu was the first to come to his senses. He squatted down and picked Xie Huanyu up in his arms, while instructing Qin Shengyi, "Shengyi, call an ambulance immediately!"

"The patient is fine now. The fainting was due to prolonged high stress and a sudden surge of anger. He will be fine after a couple of days of rest."
High levels of mental stress?
Xu Yanshu frowned in confusion, then turned to look at the person lying on the bed, wondering what this woman was up to now.
The doctor had just left when Qin Shengyi returned after paying the bill.
Noticing the man's serious expression, she hesitated for a moment before speaking to herself, "Brother Yan Shu, actually I noticed from the beginning that Xie Huanyu's expression was not quite normal."
Perhaps I shouldn't have confronted Xie Huanyu head-on just now; otherwise, this situation might not have happened.
"The doctor just said it was due to extreme mental stress and anger."

“Impossible, Xie Huanyu’s ambition hasn’t reached that level yet,” Xu Yanshu shook his head slightly, a thoughtful look in his eyes. “Shengyi, you go back first, I’ll leave after she wakes up!”
Qin Sheng hesitated, then nodded and left the ward without saying anything more.
Xu Yanshu turned and walked to the bedside. Looking at the woman's pale face, he vaguely felt that something was wrong.
After thinking it over and over, he couldn't find anything that could put pressure on Xie Huanyu, and given this woman's fiery personality that she could act on a whim, there was no possibility of any internal conflict.
Xu Yanshu was puzzled for a moment. He habitually raised his hand to look at his watch. Just as he was about to turn around, his gaze inadvertently fell on Xie Huanyu's wrist.
