Qin Shengyi was just thinking about finding Xu Yanshu after get off work one of the early days when she received a transfer order to go to the branch office.
"The branch office isn't very busy lately, so why do I need to go there?"
“Because my investigation revealed that several of the people in charge there weren’t very responsible, your father and I discussed it and decided to replace a group of management personnel,” Qin Yao said, having anticipated this reaction, and then delivered her prepared explanation. “And this process will take time.”
“Before that, we need you to go there and take charge for a while.”
Is that really the case?
Qin Shengyi was skeptical and turned to look at Ouyang Ming, who was sitting on the other side.
Although it all sounded reasonable, she still suspected that her mother had ulterior motives.
"Don't worry, Nannan, we will handle these matters as soon as possible and won't let you stay at the branch office for too long."
He initially thought the decision was an overreaction, but after being approached by Zhou Shengyu, he accepted his wife's decision.
It seems there's no room for negotiation on this matter...
Having said that, Qin Shengyi didn't insist any further, but instead asked,
"If that's the case, shouldn't I get a few days off before I go there?"
Qin Yao could easily see through her daughter's thoughts, but she didn't intend to expose her. She readily nodded in agreement, "Okay, no problem!"
"Then I'll head back to my office now."
Watching his daughter's figure disappear completely into the distance, Ouyang Ming couldn't help but let out a long, helpless sigh.
If he hadn't been forced to, why would he have let his daughter leave him again?
Qin Yao narrowed her eyes meaningfully, gave a noncommittal snort, and then spoke.
"Hmph, just watch, your daughter will definitely sneak off to find that Xu Yanshu!"
"Huh?" Ouyang Sheng was taken aback by this, then subconsciously asked, "Since you already guessed it, why did you agree to give her a day off?"
The recent series of events made him completely indifferent to Xu Yanshu, and he didn't want Shengyi to have any further contact with him.
Qin Yao raised her eyes and gave the person a cold look, replying irritably, "Can't you tell that Nannan doesn't want to go to the branch office?"
"If I refuse even this small request, does that give her the right to righteously refuse?"
