Jiang Wanning looked at Lu Jingshen seriously, waiting for him to tell her.
Lu Jingshen looked at her, curled his lips, and said calmly: "Come here."
Jiang Wanning frowned slightly and asked in confusion, "Why are you going there?"
Lu Jingshen leaned back in his chair, a doting smile etched across his eyes and brows. "Come here, I'll tell you."
When Jiang Wanning heard what he said, she looked at him seriously and said, "You can't make excuses for me. I don't want to worry about you like I did tonight." After that, she stood up and walked over.
Lu Jingshen looked at the silly girl, pulled her hand and brought her into his arms. The next second, she was held in his arms and he hugged her waist.
Jiang Wanning was somewhat frightened that night. She hooked her arm around his neck, looked up at Lu Jingshen, and said seriously, "Lu Jingshen, please be alright."
Lu Jingshen hooked her chin and whispered, "Jiang Wanning, do you know your husband's background?"
When Jiang Wanning heard this, she remembered the positions and abilities of Mr. Lu and her second brother Lu Jingrong, and nodded seriously.
Lu Jingshen raised his eyebrows and smiled, "So if they want to cause trouble for me, they have to consider whether their family and position can afford the consequences of provoking me."
Jiang Wanning heard what he said, thought for a few moments, and nodded.
He was explaining that no matter what happened, he would be okay.
Lu Jingshen lowered his eyes to look at the little girl and explained in a low voice: "However, I can't pick you up these few days. I will take care of it before we get married."
Jiang Wanning hugged his slender waist, rested her head on the crook of his neck, and said softly, "Okay, I understand."
Lu Jingshen picked her up, his eyes burning as he looked at the delicate and soft jade in his arms. He lowered his head and took a deep breath at her slender white neck and the scent of her body. He said in a low voice, "Let's take a shower, ok?"
Jiang Wanning hugged his neck tightly, feeling his hot breath lingering on her neck. Her ears suddenly turned red, her little face flushed, and she buried her head in his neck and nodded gently.
Lu Jingshen carried her to the bathroom and whispered hoarsely in her ear, "Why are you so obedient today? Are you thinking I've been wronged? Are you planning to compensate me?"
Jiang Wanning's face turned even redder. She reached out and twisted his waist. She parted her red lips and said fiercely, "Shut up! Don't say anything."
Lu Jingshen raised the corners of his lips slightly, and said in a low and hoarse voice: "Okay, I won't say it, but you have to listen to me later." After that, he carried her into the bathroom, and the next second, he pushed her against the door...
After an unknown amount of time, Lu Jingshen came out with slightly wet hair and only wearing a bathrobe, holding the little girl who was already dozing off. He gently placed her on the bed and covered her with a quilt.
Lu Jingshen watched the little girl turn over and find a comfortable position to fall asleep.
He looked at the little woman on the bed, curled his lips, turned around and walked out, closed the door, and went to the living room.
Lu Jingshen picked up his phone with a gloomy expression, walked to the French window, and dialed: "Hello, I thought you were asleep?"
Jiang Yufeng put down the documents in his hand, raised an eyebrow and smiled, "What should we do then? It's not appropriate to go to bed too early when managing such a large enterprise, right?" He glanced at the documents on the desk, pinched his brows, leaned back, and said, "The information you asked me to investigate will almost be out tomorrow. But what about the Xiang family? After all, Mr. Xiang is still alive, so there are still some foundations."
Lu Jingshen's eyes flashed with cruelty, and he sneered: "The people who came upstairs today are from the Xiang family."
Jiang Yufeng was a little surprised and sneered, "You're really anxious. But do you think it was Grandpa Xiang who did it, or did Xiang Guoxuan do it without Grandpa Xiang's knowledge?"

Lu Jingshen leaned against the sofa, his face gloomy, not knowing what he was waiting for.
After a while, the cell phone rang. Lu Jingshen picked it up and said, "Send it to me." Then he hung up and went into the study.
When Dong Yi heard this, he immediately passed on the findings of his investigation.
Lu Jingshen looked at the findings on the computer, smiled faintly, and said contemptuously: "Foreign business is not bad," and then closed the computer.
People in their units or positions are expressly prohibited from having any contact with foreign affairs.

Lu Jingshen curled his lips, stood up and went into the bedroom.
He opened the quilt and lay down, watching the little girl sleeping soundly. He bent down and kissed her. One arm naturally slipped under her neck and the other hand around her waist. The little girl turned over slightly and fell asleep peacefully in his arms.
Lu Jingshen lowered his eyes to see it, then closed his eyes.
In the morning, Jiang Wanning took a taxi to work. Lu Jingshen did not drive himself today, so Li Dong picked him up directly.
Municipal Office
Lu Jingshen went to the unit and received the documents from Jiang Yufeng. The documents listed various properties, companies run by relatives, and the women that Xiang Guoxuan and Xiang Nanyu had previously had contact with.
Then he dialed the internal line: "Dong Yi, come in."
After a while, Dong Yi knocked on the door and came in, "Boss."
Lu Jingshen threw the documents in front of him and said calmly, "These documents are the same as what you investigated last night. Submit them anonymously. You can handle this matter."
