Lu Jingshen got in the car, picked up his phone and checked the length of the video. Five minutes?
Then he pinched his brows, squinted his eyes, leaned back in his chair, and ordered: "Next time, female leaders below the ministerial level are prohibited from attending drinking parties, unless I am not there."
Dong Yi heard that this was because he was afraid that his wife would be jealous, especially considering Ji Ruyan.
"Yes, leader."
When he got downstairs, Lu Jingshen went upstairs carrying his coat.
Li Dong and Dong Yi drove away in the car.
In the car, Dong Yi finally relaxed, leaned back in the chair with his eyes closed, and sighed deeply.
Li Dong glanced at Dong Yi and chuckled.
Dong Yi heard this and whispered, "What are you laughing at? I wonder if the boss will tell the truth to his wife when he goes up there."
Lu Jingshen opened the door, threw his coat on the shoe cabinet, changed his shoes, and saw a floor lamp on in the living room, the dim light emitting warmth.
He walked in and gently opened the bedroom door. There was a lamp on the bedside table and the little girl was sleeping on her side on the bed.
He closed the door gently and went to the bathroom outside.
After taking a shower, he lifted the quilt and lay down, hugged the little girl, bent down and kissed her, and then fell asleep as sleepiness came over him.
In the morning, Jiang Wanning woke up from Lu Jingshen's arms, looked up at him, who was still sleeping, glared at him, lifted the quilt and got out of bed.
Went into the bathroom to wash up.
Until the alarm clock rang, Lu Jingshen closed his eyes and subconsciously hugged her in his arms, but missed.
He opened his eyes, looked at the bed, pinched his eyebrows, sat quietly for a while, and then got out of bed.
When I walked into the restaurant, I saw the little girl eating breakfast and chatting with Aunt Zhang.
He curled his lips, turned and went into the bathroom. After washing up and changing his clothes, he came out and sat at the dining table. He watched the little girl eating breakfast and said softly, "Why did you wake up so early today?" In the past, he always woke up to the alarm clock.
Jiang Wanning glanced at him indifferently, ignored him, finished her breakfast, went back to the cloakroom and changed her clothes.
Aunt Zhang saw this and frowned, asking, "Did you make Wan Ning angry?"
When Lu Jingshen saw this, he put down his breakfast, said hello to Aunt Zhang, stood up and followed her.
Jiang Wanning was choosing clothes to wear today in the cloakroom. When she heard the noise, she glanced at Lu Jingshen who was walking over and continued to choose clothes.
Lu Jingshen saw that the little girl must have known about it, so he walked over and hugged her from behind, lowering his head and saying in a low voice, "Are you angry?"
Jiang Wanning said calmly, "Angry? Why should I be angry?" Then she reached out and picked out a simple white shirt and a long skirt.
Lu Jingshen took the two pieces of clothing and threw them into the closet. He picked up the little girl and went into the bedroom, sitting on the bed.
Jiang Wanning struggled to get down, but he restrained her by his legs.
She glared at him and said coldly, "Put me down."
Lu Jingshen looked at the little girl and said softly, "Do you know?"
When Jiang Wanning heard this, she knew that her guess was correct. The relationship between that woman and him was not a simple one.
Jiang Wanning met his gaze and said calmly, "What should I know?"
Lu Jingshen's heart skipped a beat, and a hint of uneasiness flashed across his eyes.
His Adam's apple moved and he explained, "There was a woman at the drinking party yesterday, a woman I had before." As he spoke, his eyes were fixed on Jiang Wanning.
When Jiang Wanning heard it, she also guessed it.
He asked lightly, "Then you two are quite destined to meet each other." He said with a hint of smile.
Lu Jingshen frowned and looked at the little girl's reaction, and the uneasiness in his heart gradually grew.
He explained seriously, "I didn't say a word to her at the drinking party yesterday..."
Jiang Wanning smiled faintly and said, "Lu Jingshen, what I care about is that I asked you when I sent you a message this afternoon. Although it was a casual and teasing tone, you didn't say anything and chose to avoid it." After that, she pushed him away, stood up and looked at him.
Then he whispered, "Since you have concealed it, you should keep it secret. But I won't ask about it anymore in the future, so everyone can feel more at ease." Then he turned and was about to leave.
Being carefully embraced by Lu Jingshen, he lowered his head and said in a low voice: "I didn't tell you because I was afraid that if you knew, you would think too much, feel bad, and you are pregnant."
Jiang Wanning chuckled, looked sideways at him, and said, "So I won't ask anymore. You can come back at any time after the drinking party, or even not come back at all."
When Lu Jingshen heard this, he frowned and said in a slightly gloomy tone, "Jiang Wanning, what do you mean?"
Are you going to ignore him from now on?
Jiang Wanning smiled and said, "You are free." Then she pulled his hand away, turned around and walked out.
Lu Jingshen strode out with a sullen face. He passed Jiang Wanning and saw Aunt Zhang. He said in a deep voice, "Aunt Zhang, you don't have to pack up. Go back first."
Aunt Zhang turned around and saw Lu Jingshen's expression and Wan Ning's look behind her. She took off her apron and walked to the door with her shopping bag.
What's going on? She's pregnant!
He frowned and said, "Wan Ning is still pregnant, you should communicate with her properly." After that, he opened the door and went out.
When I got downstairs, I made a phone call.
Lu Jingshen waited for Aunt Zhang to leave, then turned around, glanced at Jiang Wanning, went into the bedroom, took out his phone, and dialed. He said in a deep voice, "Please ask for a day off for her. I won't be going over today. If you have anything, please call me. Please send any documents that need processing to my computer."
Jiang Wanning frowned when she heard someone asking for leave for her. She said with a look of dissatisfaction, "Lu Jingshen, why are you asking for leave for me? I don't want to ask for leave. I want to go to work."
Lu Jingshen raised his eyebrows, looked at Jiang Wanning, and said in a low and serious voice, "You are not allowed to go anywhere today. I will explain."
Jiang Wanning stared at him, pursed her lips, her eyes full of anger.
