Jiang Wanning walked out of the city hall with a lost look on her face. When no one was around, she let her tears flow gently and whispered softly: "Jiang Wanning, do you still want to like him?" The only response she got was the falling leaves.

After Secretary Dong finished dealing with Zhong Xinran, he turned and went upstairs. He glanced at Mayor Lu's office, frowned slightly, and then grabbed Mayor He's assistant who was walking over and asked quietly, "Ms. He, how does Mayor Lu look?"
Assistant Sister He closed the file, looked at Mayor Lu's office, and shook her head slightly. "Secretary Dong, the atmosphere is very low. If you go in now, you can only wish for the best."
Then he asked, "What happened to Lu Shi?"

Secretary Dong had just sat down when he saw Lu Jingshen striding out. He glanced at him and ordered, "Pass the investment documents to Mayor Gu," and then strode downstairs.
Lu Jingshen was driving, frowning as he made a phone call. The line rang for a long time before a hoarse, soft voice came from the other end.
"Where is it?"
Jiang Wanning lowered her head, standing at the intersection, and asked calmly, "Is there anything else?"
Lu Jingshen's eyes were complicated, and he whispered, "I'm sorry, my tone was a bit harsh today. Where are you? I'll pick you up."
Jiang Wanning didn't want to see him at this moment, and a sour feeling formed on the tip of her nose. "I... have to go back to work,"
Lu Jingshen laughed softly and said, "I'm not going to do anything. I'll just take you to work."
Jiang Wanning heard the smile on the other end of the phone, pursed her lips, and remained silent.
Lu Jingshen stopped the car and whispered, "I made you angry today. Give me a chance to apologize. I'll take you to work. Be obedient. Here's the address."
Jiang Wanning didn't know that he could coax people so gently. Her eyes turned red again and she whispered, "At the intersection of West Street."
Lu Jingshen said in a low voice, "Wait there," and then he hung up the phone, stepped on the accelerator and drove out.
