Chapter 1: New Life



As if connected by nerves.

After Chen Fan knew about it, he was extremely nervous and dragged her to the hospital for a thorough checkup every time. At first, Chen Jing followed him, but later, as the headaches became more frequent, Chen Jing didn't want to keep Chen Fan in fear, so she endured it quietly.

She shook her head, thanked him, stood up and continued walking into the subway.

It was not until she got on the subway that Chen Jing stumbled to a seat. She leaned her head against the glass and closed her eyes to try to ease the sudden pain.

It takes forty-five minutes to get from here to Chen Jing's residence. This was Chen Fan's specific instruction. She must stay in a quiet place to help her recuperate. When she came here, her whole body was almost wrapped in bandages, which was scary.
