Chapter 3 Being Firmly Loved



Chen Jing couldn't hold back her tears, and they dripped onto the pillow, wetting it.

"Mom, when I'm ready, I'll go back to see you and Dad."

"No, no, no, Mom knows you're living happily and safely there. Mom doesn't want you to come back and take risks. Mom just misses you. When your dad and I are free, we'll fly to see you."

The mother and daughter chatted for a few more minutes before hanging up the phone.

Chen Jing's eyes were red and swollen from crying.
