Chapter 126 Running

Chapter 126 Running

On the way back, Zhong Hui saw a few people running around the community. She hadn't run since she graduated from junior high school.

In the past, it was tiring enough to run around for a living. Now that the labor force is not so large, maybe it’s time to run and exercise. After all, health is the first priority.

Zhong Hui did it as soon as she thought of it. The next day, she went to the mall and bought sports shoes and sportswear. After she was fully equipped, she prepared to get up half an hour earlier in the morning and run a few laps downstairs.

Zhong Hui couldn't help feeling ashamed for not getting up on the first day. When she woke up, the sun was already high in the sky and the community was busy with people going to work and school.

Zhong Hui learned her lesson, bought an alarm clock, set the alarm to six o'clock, and finally got up the next day.

Although her eyelids were sleepy, Zhong Hui still insisted on putting on her sneakers and going downstairs.

It was still a little cold in the morning in March, and Zhong Hui started running shivering.

I haven't run for many years, and I've been living a leisurely life for the past six months. I was out of breath after running only one kilometer.

Zhong Hui's steps became slower and slower. She heard footsteps from behind, probably someone coming to the community for a morning jog.

The man quickly caught up with Zhong Hui and ran side by side with her.

Zhong Hui glanced sideways and saw that he looked familiar. It was Zhao Xiqian's father who had been walking the dog with Linlin these days.

The two met while their children were walking the dog. The previous few times they saw him, he was always dressed in a suit and tie, looking like an elite. Now he was wearing sportswear and looked a little different.

Zhao Xiqian's father is quite nice. Looking at him from such a close distance, he seems to be a head taller than her.

Apparently, he recognized her and smiled at Zhong Hui: "It seems like this is the first time I've seen you jogging in the morning."

"Yes, today is my first day of running." Zhong Hui replied, she was running and talking at the same time, and she was out of breath.

"It's like this at the beginning, but you'll get used to it after running for a few days."

Zhong Hui nodded, and her steps became slower and slower. She could hardly run anymore.

The man next to him had obviously noticed it too, and chuckled, "It's best not to run for too long at the beginning, just enough."

Zhong Hui meant the same thing. If he hadn't been running side by side with her, Zhong Hui would have felt embarrassed to stop and would have rested long ago.

Hearing this, he immediately said, "I think so too. I will insist on running to the basketball court."

"There's a guardrail on the basketball court. Go there and stretch. Otherwise, you'll get muscle sore easily."

Zhong Hui nodded, and the two of them ran towards the basketball court.

Early in the morning, there was no one playing basketball on the basketball court, but there were groups of people stretching by the guardrail.

Zhong Hui walked over and, imitating others, put her feet on the guardrail and stretched her legs.

This movement is quite similar to the basic dance skills that Linlin practiced during the summer vacation.

The guardrail just reached Zhong Hui's waist. As soon as she put her feet on it, she felt a little pain in her legs, and it was impossible to press down any further.

She had never practiced before, so her waist, legs and bones were stiff, and she couldn't press down at all.

Zhong Hui quickly put it down. Seeing how smoothly the other person pressed it, she smiled sheepishly: "It still hurts. I'd better try another way to relax."

"A massage would be fine."

As he said this, he demonstrated to Zhong Hui how to relax on flat ground.

Zhong Hui tried it for a few times and found this one easier, so she started doing it.

After relaxing, the two walked back together.

"Thank you for today."

"You're welcome. It's nothing. I usually run here as long as it's not raining."

Zhong Hui was stunned for a moment and nodded slightly.

"By the way, my name is Zhao Jilin."

"Zhong Hui."

The two knew each other, and when they entered the elevator, they found out that they lived on the upper and lower floors.
