Chapter 168 Poor Zhong Xu
When Zhong Hui walked over, she saw Zhong Xu covering his butt, limping and still laughing.
"Where did you fall?" Zhong Hui hurried forward to check.
"My brother fell headfirst from a tree and landed on his butt." Linlin replied quickly.
"Does it hurt a lot?" Zhong Hui asked with concern, "Let's go to the hospital."
"No, no, no, I'm strong enough and I'll be fine after a while." Zhong Xu waved his hand to indicate that it was not necessary.
As he spoke, he took a few steps forward and said, "Look, aunt, there's nothing wrong."
Seeing Zhong Xu like this, Zhong Hui felt relieved that he didn't fall too hard.
"You really don't want to go and take a look?"
"No, I still have to go pick dragon fruit."
Okay, seeing that he was fine, Zhong Hui didn't mention going back. It was a rare opportunity for the children to come out and play.
"Are you really okay?" Zhong Siqi also asked with concern.
"Hehe, if I really fall and get injured, will I be able to do the work this week?" Zhong Xu said with a mean smile.
"I won't do it for you." Zhong Siqi snorted and ran away.
Zhong Xu stood there grinning foolishly, while Linlin clicked her tongue and shook her head.
A few of us played in the picking garden for most of the day, but the sun was too hot, so we left reluctantly when it was almost past midnight.
It was a great harvest, the trunk was stuffed full. Of course, this harvest cost a lot of money, several hundred dollars.
If I really wanted to buy it at a fruit store, I would probably buy even more, but isn’t it fun? There are quite a few parents who brought their children here today.
Zhong Hui was driving and the three children were sitting in the back seat. Linlin and Zhong Siqi were chattering away, and Zhong Xu wanted to interrupt but couldn't.
"Zhong Siqi, why don't you take your family's car with your mother?" Zhong Xu suddenly asked loudly.
Zhong Siqi glared at him: "What's it to you?"
"I was just asking casually." Zhong Xu lowered his head aggrievedly.
Zhong Hui couldn't help laughing when she saw it through the rearview mirror. It's really hard to guess what a little boy is thinking.
Zhong Hui drove carefully. When she came out of the picking garden and was about to get on the overpass, she caught a glimpse of a sign next to her that said "Land for Sale."
I’m afraid the land here is difficult to sell?
Zhong Hui took a quick look and then forgot about it. After getting off the overpass and parking at the intersection, Zhong Siqi got into He Yanqing and the others' car.
"Zhong Xu, when you get home, ask your mother to check you out. Apply some safflower oil and it will heal faster."
Zhong Xu moved his butt, it felt even more painful when sitting. He was embarrassed just now, but now Zhong Xu was groaning.
"Linlin, please sit closer. I want to lie down. It hurts when I sit."
"Why didn't you say anything just now?" Linlin frowned. She still felt sorry for her brother. Linlin moved to the side, leaned against the car window, and sat a little bit on the edge.
Zhong Xu slowly raised his legs and then lay down on the back seat like a frog: "It's much more comfortable."
Linlin wanted to roll her eyes. Don’t think she didn’t know that her brother was just trying to save face in front of Zhong Siqi.
Back at Bixi Garden, Zhong Hui held a basket in each hand, Linlin also carried one, and Zhong Xu walked slowly behind, holding his buttocks as he walked and crying out in pain.
Zhong Hui left two baskets at home, and took another basket with Zhong Xu and Linlin to Yang Fangqin's house.
They went out to play today, and Yang Fangqin agreed to cook at home and pick them up for dinner when they came back.
When they reached the top floor, the door was open. Zhong Huishou changed her shoes and went in. Oh, Zhong Fang was there too. What a rare guest.
Zhong Hui greeted him lightly: "Brother Zhong Fang is here."
"Ahui is here. Wow, Linlin is getting prettier and prettier. Zhongxu has grown so tall. He's really grown into a big boy."
Zhong Fang patted Zhong Xu's shoulder excitedly, then slapped him down with a palm strike.
