Chapter 100: A dog will always eat shit
They played too late yesterday, so they didn’t go home and slept directly in a nearby hotel.
Zhong Hui poked her head out from under the goose-feather quilt with sleepy eyes. Thinking back to last night, she still felt a little reluctant to leave. She had spent the money and satisfied her visual craving, so as for the rest, it seemed like the money was worth it.
"Oh, I wasn't brave enough last night. There were so many cool foods, but I didn't get to eat any of them." He Yanqing woke up from the bed next to her and regretted it as soon as she woke up.
Zhong Hui burst out laughing: "He has the will but not the guts."
He Yanqing glared at her: "We are the same."
Zhong Hui smiled silently, really, she was quite cowardly.
There was no way around it, they were still not open-minded enough. However, being able to go in and spend money was already Zhong Hui's greatest courage.
"It's okay. The first time is new, the second time is familiar. Let's go a few more times and we will be able to eat meat eventually." He Yanqing said.
Zhong Hui nodded, that made sense.
They stayed in a five-star hotel, which cost more than a thousand yuan a night. In the past, Zhong Hui couldn't even dare to think about it, but now, she had the money and enjoyed it.
"Let's get up and have breakfast. I heard the breakfast here is very special." He Yanqing stretched.
Zhong Hui rolled around on the bed again before getting up. It felt really good.
After washing up, the two went directly to the restaurant on the second floor. It was past nine o'clock and there were not many people in the restaurant.
"This is a buffet. Just take what you want to eat and put it on your plate." He Yanqing handed Zhong Hui a plate and said softly.
Zhong Hui nodded and followed He Yanqing, opening the lunch boxes one by one and picking up two dumplings, a steamed bun, and a steamed cake...
After picking up several dishes and filling her plate, Zhong Hui carried it back to her seat contentedly. This was Zhong Hui's first time having a buffet.
After picking up the food, Zhong Hui took the plate and went back to her seat. After putting it down, she saw some white porridge on the side. Zhong Hui stood up again and got a bowl of white porridge.
Just as she was about to ask He Yanqing if she wanted one, she saw someone angrily saying to her, "Why are you here? Who are you booking a room with?"
Zhong Hui frowned. Zhong Fang's tone sounded like a husband who was catching his wife cheating on him. Where did he get the confidence from?
"Where I am and who I book a room with is none of your business." He Yanqing glanced at him indifferently.
Zhong Fang was speechless for a moment, but still a little annoyed: "You are a woman, it's not safe."
"Humph, whether it's safe or not is none of your business, comrade ex-husband."
There were one or two curious people looking over here, but when they heard the word "ex-husband", they no longer had any interest in gossiping.
Zhong Fang looked unhappy: "Yes, we are divorced, but it's not good for Siqi to be home alone with you so late at night, right?"
"You still remember Siqi? I thought you didn't know that you had an older daughter. Have you visited her in the past few months?" He Yanqing sneered.
Zhong Fang looked a little guilty, but he quickly calmed down and said, "I've been too busy lately."
Zhong Hui walked over, put the plate on the table, and pretended to have just seen it: "Hey, Brother Zhong Fang, you are staying in the hotel too."
"Hey, you're alone here. Where's your new wife?" Zhong Hui smiled and looked around.
Oh, it turned out that he came with Zhong Hui. Zhong Fang’s depression instantly dissipated.
Hearing Zhong Hui's question, a trace of embarrassment flashed across Zhong Fang's face: "Well, well, I was discussing business with someone, and it was too late, so I didn't go home, so I stayed here for one night."
"Oh, stay here for one night." Zhong Hui glanced at the woman next to her who kept looking at them with a smile.
"Look, your friend is quite anxious, go over there quickly." He Yanqing laughed, "This, doesn't seem to be your new wife, right?"
Zhong Fang's face turned panicky. He said no more and quickly took the plate and left.
"Let's go, let's go. The breakfast here is not tasty. I'll take you out to eat." Zhong Fang pulled the woman away.
"What are you doing? I just took it and haven't eaten it yet." The woman refused and was dragged away by Zhong Fang.
"Tsk, you're crazy." He Yanqing curled her lips and continued eating.
Zhong Hui was also speechless. A dog will always eat shit. Why didn’t she think Zhong Fang was so shameless before?
"This man always thinks he is superior to others, but in fact, he is nothing." He Yanqing now feels that she must have been blind at the beginning, otherwise, how could she fall for Zhong Fang.
"Neither of us had very good taste before." Zhong Hui made a direct conclusion.
He Yanli nodded firmly. Men are not good people.
When He Yanqing thought of the tone Zhong Fang used when he questioned her just now, she felt as nauseous as if she had swallowed a fly. It was so uncomfortable and she wanted to vomit. Who did he think he was?
He Yanqing took a bite of the steamed cake angrily, as if the steamed cake was Zhong Fang. Pah, pah, pah, so disgusting.
The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. He Yanqing felt that she couldn't just let it go.
"Zhong Fang only remembers the food and not the beating." Zhong Hui sighed.
"His new wife is also pitiful. Oh, not really pitiful. After all, a turtle and a mung bean are a perfect match. But if I can see the liveliness in their family, I will still be very happy." He Yanqing said in a tone of watching the fun.
Zhong Hui held her chin and said nothing, but her eyes were shining with a desire to watch the fun.
"Okay, let's not talk about him anymore. It's disgusting. Evildoers will be punished by their own evildoers." He Yanqing didn't want to mention Zhong Fang at all.
…
After breakfast, the two returned to the room to get their things and then went directly to the front desk to check out.
I didn’t encounter Zhong Fang this time, which is good and doesn’t affect my mood.
Zhong Hui first sent He Yanqing back home, and then slowly drove back to Xinhe Community.
As soon as she parked the car downstairs, Zhong Hui widened her eyes unconsciously through the glass. Oh, who are those two young people holding hands and chatting in front?
