Chapter 848 Forcing People to Do Things They Done

Le Yao's lips curled into an uncontrollable smile, but she still had plenty of energy, so how could she bear to let her man suffer? So she patted Nangong Jue's shoulder and said, "I can walk now, we'll talk when I'm tired."

Nangong Jue didn't insist, but instead took her hand and climbed up together.

Fortunately, the hillside wasn't too difficult to climb, and there were trees for support from time to time, so it took about half an hour to reach the top.

The hillside offered excellent views with no obstructions. In the distance, a canyon stretched out before you, beyond which lay the sea dotted with islands, and a small, solitary hill stood nearby…

The group then began to descend the mountain and walk into the canyon.

It took another hour or so to finally cross the canyon. In front of us were mountains, and on the other side were huge reefs exposed from the sea.

As Le Yao looked around, her eyes suddenly widened. This place looked familiar. She tugged at Nangong Jue, but before she could say anything, Nangong Jue gripped her hand tightly, indicating that he had noticed it too.

This place looks very similar to the one depicted on the treasure map.

If nothing unexpected happens, this should be the location of the treasure.

At this moment, Princess Dina got off the bamboo chair and turned to look at Le Yao: "Tina, do you see this? This is where your grandfather hid the treasure. Do you recognize it?"

Le Yao smiled and said, "I don't know if it's the location of the treasure cave, but it does look very similar to the picture on the treasure map." She paused for a moment, then continued, "But Your Highness, since you already know this place, why did you still ask me for the treasure map?"

“What he wants is the key,” Nangong Jue smiled. “Besides, she also needs to confirm that this is the place.”

“My lord is so clever.” Diana nodded. “I only knew roughly that it was here, but I didn’t know the exact entrance. Now that I have this treasure map… I can find the entrance.” She took out the treasure map and looked at it. “Look, it’s marked here, and this place…” she said, glancing around before pointing. “It should be there.”

Everyone looked in the direction she was pointing, and there it was—the small hill.

"Now that you've found the location, does that mean our mission is complete?" Le Yao smiled. "Then my husband and I will take our leave..."

"Hehe." Princess Diana laughed. "Tina, no rush. You still need to find this entrance. Go and open it."

"Me? How am I supposed to open it? Didn't I give you the key?" Le Yao frowned. "Besides, if you hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known I was connected to some tyrant. So, you're really asking me to do something I shouldn't."

"Stop talking nonsense. You have no say here. Only my word counts," Princess Diana said with a smile and a wave of her hand.

The mercenaries immediately pointed their guns at Le Yao and Nangong Jue.

"Alright then." Le Yao could only sigh. "You're the boss, I'll find him." She then exhaled. "A-Jue, you wait for me here."

Nangong Jue grasped her hand: "We're husband and wife, you can't abandon me." Then he walked ahead first.

The hill doesn't look very high from a distance, but it's still about 70 or 80 meters tall, and it's not an easy hill to climb.

Diana followed behind with her entourage.
