Chapter 365 Square Dancing

Of course, Le Yao wouldn't ask about Nangong Jue and his sister. She wasn't interested. Anyway, she was divorced from Nangong Jue, and it was their business who they associated with. She was only asking out of curiosity, purely gossip.

“Honey, we’ve finally come to the capital, so we have to take you to see some sights.” Not long after the car left the hotel, Qiaoqiao suggested, “The night view of the capital is really beautiful.”

“Okay.” Le Yao nodded. “I actually prefer nature.”

"Haha, what a character." Qiao Qiao laughed, then patted the driver's seat in front, "Let's go to Houhai."

Then the car turned and headed in another direction.

About half an hour later, the car stopped.

Qiaoqiao pulled Leyao out of the car: "Although the capital is an inland city, it does have water. However, this is actually an artificial lake. It is said to have been formed in the Yuan Dynasty and was dug by the royal family. Even those who have never been here know about this place."

"I know, I know." Le Yao nodded. "I even asked Baidu. It's a very beautiful open park, and there's also a very famous bar street here."

“The scenery here is completely different during the day and at night.” Qiaoqiao pulled Leyao over. “And there are too many people during the day. Standing here, you can’t even see the back mountain. It’s almost full of people. This place is a big square, like a market. But it’s different at night. It’s very pleasant to take a walk here.”

“Mmm.” Le Yao nodded. “Walking like this gives me a feeling of… peace and tranquility.”

"Look, there's a whole street of bars across the street. It's getting lively right now," Qiao Qiao pointed to the opposite side.

Le Yao also saw it; the lights over there were even more colorful, and although it was far away, she could still see people coming and going.

I continued walking along the water for a while. Although it was already past nine o'clock at night, there were still many people selling snacks, taking walks, and even doing square dancing.

“In a few years, let’s come and do square dancing too,” Qiao Qiao said, pointing to a group of middle-aged women in the square in front of her.

“Why would we need to wait a few years? We can do it today.” Le Yao pulled Qiao Qiao and ran to the back of the line. “Let’s jump!” The key was that the tune was too familiar. It was the square dance anthem. Before she became a paper doll, her mother often danced to it.

There's an open space downstairs from their house, and music starts playing every evening at 7 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m. Whenever she's resting at home, her mom drags her down there to wiggle her hips for an hour.

Hearing this familiar tune again now makes me itchy to play.

"I've never danced before." Qiaoqiao can dance, but she's never been involved in square dancing.

"Just follow me." Le Yao didn't look at the older women's dance in front of her; she just started dancing to the music, "Left foot, right foot, forward, backward, turn around..."

Qiaoqiao also had a dance background, and she quickly caught up with the dance steps.

Since they came directly from the banquet tonight, neither of them had changed their clothes. One was wearing a white, knee-length strapless gown, and the other a black blazer with black wide-leg pants. With their stunning looks, their dance was both beautiful and incredibly cool.

Once one person noticed, a second person would follow... Soon, people who were strolling, chatting, or passing by gathered around, and everyone started swaying to Le Yao's dance steps.
