Chapter 854 It Exploded

"Don't worry, she's my daughter, I'll protect her." Andy nodded.

Nangong Jue smiled at Le Yao, then grabbed the rope ladder that was lowered from the helicopter and quickly climbed up.

Le Yao watched the helicopter disappear, then silently looked away, praying in her heart that it would return safely.

The speedboat quickly stopped next to a huge cruise ship in international waters, where people picked them up.

"Can I call you Alan?" Andy asked Le Yao cautiously.

"Just call me Tina." Le Yao really didn't want to have anything to do with this man.

“Alright, Tina.” Mayandi’s eyes darkened slightly, but he didn’t hesitate. “I’ll take you to your room to rest first. Don’t worry, the Duke will be fine.”

Le Yao nodded and then followed him to a room on the second floor.

"You rest first. If you need anything, just pick up the phone and dial, and someone will answer."

“Baron,” Yue Yao called out from the doorway to Andy, who was about to leave.

"What?" Mayandi's eyes darkened again. His own daughter calling him Baron was so unfamiliar... it made him uncomfortable.

"If something were to happen to Her Highness the Princess, would you be distressed?"

Andy frowned.

“You should know that Her Highness has actually broken the law. Although she is a member of the Y Kingdom's royal family, the crime of murder cannot be easily erased.” Le Yao smiled. “When you saved me, you should have thought that if I were alright, then perhaps she would be in trouble…”

Andy's brow furrowed even more.

“You two have a son, so you’d better think it over. It’s easier to kill me now.” Le Yao said, then slammed the door shut.

After a long silence, Mayandi finally sighed at the door, "Don't worry, I won't kill you for someone else." Then he turned and left.

Le Yao, who was in the room, naturally heard what Andy said, but she was not completely at ease. However, she was not too worried. If Nangong Jue had sent her here, it was impossible for him to have completely handed her over to Andy. Someone must have been following her.

There's no immediate danger, so let's take a rest. With more energy, we can better handle what comes next.

She didn't know how long she had slept when a muffled thud suddenly came from afar, making her sit up abruptly. She then realized that it was already completely dark and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, thinking that the sound she had just heard must have been a hallucination.

But just as I was about to get out of bed, the whole boat started rocking, and before I knew it, I fell off the bed and onto the floor.

“Tina…” came Mayendy’s voice from outside the door, “Are you alright?”

Le Yao struggled to her feet and staggered over to open the door: "What happened?"

“It must have been that mountain that was bombed…” Mayandi gripped the railing tightly. “We’re not too far from here, so we were affected, but nothing serious, so…”

"What?" Le Yao's expression changed drastically. "It exploded? Then..."

"We don't know the specifics yet, so don't worry..." Andy comforted Le Yao, "We should have news soon."

Le Yao quickly calmed herself down: "I understand, thank you."
