"Yes, it's pretty good." Le Yao nodded with a smile. She actually quite enjoyed teasing her cousin. Although this girl was always jealous of Han Binglan, she only ever made a fuss verbally and never actually did anything despicable. Moreover, she never gained the upper hand verbally and always ended up being the one who got angry and left.
"Aren't you afraid he'll get tired of you one day?" Han Bingmei pouted, glancing at Nangong Jue not far away. "Look at him, he's the kind of guy who attracts all sorts of women. How could he possibly stay with you forever?"
"It's fine. Anyway, all his money is with me. If he really messes around, I'll just dump him. Then I'll be a billionaire. I won't have to worry about not finding a young and handsome man." Le Yao shrugged nonchalantly.
"You..." Han Bingmei couldn't help but widen her eyes, "You're really shameless, how could you say something like that? And aren't you afraid he'll find out?"
"Hehe." Le Yao laughed. "Even if I'm shameless, I didn't stop a man from telling another woman that I wanted to have her son... You can go and tell him now, and see if he gets angry with me."
Upon hearing this, Han Bingmei's expression immediately changed: "You...you..." Then she suddenly snorted, got up and ran away. It was just a stupid thing she did in a moment of impulse, and this woman still brought it up. How annoying.
"Your chopsticks." Le Yao called out hurriedly. This woman had come over with chopsticks and sat down, but she forgot to take them when she ran away. Was she not going to eat?
Han Bingmei, who had only run a few steps, suddenly turned back, snatched the chopsticks, snorted again, returned to her original seat, and began to eat heartily, as if the dishes were all Le Yao's flesh.
Le Yao laughed as she watched, and even mouthed to her: Eat more.
Han Bingmei almost choked.
Le Yao smiled even more brightly.
"You silly girl." Liu Sujuan patted Le Yao on the shoulder. "You know, Mei Zi likes to compete with you, but that girl doesn't have a bad heart."
"Don't worry, Mom, I know. I'm not angry with her at all," Le Yao quickly explained. "I just think my cousin is quite funny."
Liu Sujuan was both amused and exasperated, but knowing her daughter was sensible, she didn't say anything more and went to chat with the others.
"She's trying to steal your man, and you still think she's funny?" Zhou Yulan, who was next to Le Yao, moved her chair closer to Le Yao to lower her voice. "Are you out of your mind?"
“She wanted to take it, but she had to be able to take it.” Le Yao couldn’t help but laugh. “Besides, she took it openly and honestly, without resorting to underhanded tactics, so I still have to respect my opponent.”
Zhou Yulan immediately gave a constipated look: "Hehe, you're simply..." She seemed unable to continue, "...you're so carefree you could hold the sky."
"Thank you for the compliment." Le Yao clasped her hands in a fist salute.
"What a character!" Zhou Yulan rolled her eyes, then suddenly remembered something and her expression turned serious. "Oh, right, there's something I need to remind you of."
"What's wrong?" Yue Yao asked, taking her seriously as soon as she saw her expression.
"It's about Cao Chunying."
“Cao Chunying? Who is that?” Le Yao frowned.
"Didn't your aunt tell you?" Zhou Yulan frowned as well.
"He didn't say," Yue Yao shook her head. "Does this person have a grudge against me?"
