Chapter 68 Never Again

Wang Chungui immediately pointed at the gate and roared, "Get out! Get out of here! Our Xu family doesn't want a filthy woman like you! You slept with that man, didn't you? How could you be so shameless? If I knew you'd found a new man, I'd rather die than beg you to come back!"

It's funny to think about.

Jiang Tong has a new man by her side. Xu Huaiyuan, the cheating scumbag, knows he is in the wrong and doesn't dare to say a word, but his former mother-in-law is furious.

It seems she made some mistake.

Jiang Tong was extremely annoyed and slammed her hand on the door with a loud "Bang!" "Can you be quiet? This is normal dating after my divorce. Your son cheated on me both before and after marriage. What right do you have to yell here?"

Wang Chungui was startled by her commotion. She had never seen Jiang Tong's eyes so fierce before. She was now an old woman who was sick. She hadn't lied about her illness. Life was hard, and her health had deteriorated significantly.

She was now terrified that Jiang Tong would turn around and bully her, and she was trembling with fear.

Jiang Tong caught a glimpse of her little girl, who was also startled. She suppressed her anger and said, "Since you dislike me so much, then don't bother me anymore. I wish we would never see each other again in this life."

As she spoke, she bent down and picked up Peipei.

Peipei immediately hugged her neck tightly and buried her face in her neck like a little ostrich.

Wang Chungui snapped out of her daze and yelled, "Peipei! We're not going to your mother's! Come down here right now, come to Grandma! Have you forgotten what Grandma told you? Your mother found you a stepfather, and he'll bully you to death! Be careful he doesn't abuse you! He'll skin you alive!!"

After she noticed that Jiang Tong was protecting Peipei, she realized that both of her daughters were very important to her. For the first time, Wang Chungui felt regret. If she had known that Peipei was so important to Jiang Tong, she shouldn't have let Peipei go back to her side.

They should have done it the way they did at the beginning, sowing discord between the mother and daughter, preventing Jiang Tong from gaining custody of her little girl, and leaving her with a lingering pain in her heart forever.

Wang Chungui was filled with regret! She never expected that Peipei would turn against her so quickly and completely disregard her teachings. Now she had even accepted her stepfather.

She was furious.

Wang Chungui just wanted to call Peipei over to her side, hoping to make Jiang Tong feel heartbroken.

Unfortunately, seeing her frantic state, Peipei was so frightened that she clung to Jiang Tong even tighter and dared not utter a sound.

Jiang Tong quickly took the child and left, leaving Wang Chungui shouting at the door.

She hates it when her emotions get involved with her child.

No matter what happens in front of her children, Jiang Tong always tries to control herself and not go too far.

To avoid leaving the child with psychological trauma.

It seems that Peipei was quite frightened today. She hugged Jiang Tong tightly, but fortunately she didn't choose her grandmother today, otherwise Jiang Tong would really have a headache.

While waiting for the elevator, she noticed a neighbor coming downstairs. Hearing the noise, she curiously peeked into the hallway and, upon seeing Jiang Tong, exclaimed in surprise, "Oh, Jiang Tong, you've brought your child back to see your mother-in-law?"

Jiang Tong forced a smile and nodded, "That's my former mother-in-law, Aunt Huang. Are you going to buy groceries?"

This person is the neighbor next door.

I used to often run into her downstairs taking care of her granddaughter when I was taking care of my own child.

She's someone who likes to show off. She often talks about how much her son earns a year, what designer items he buys for her, and how her daughter earns a lot of money abroad.

But the person isn't a bad one.

She's quite kind-hearted, but like Wang Chungui, she's a bit of a chatterbox.

But she and Wang Chungui didn't get along.

Aunt Huang chuckled and said, "Isn't she my ex-mother-in-law? Really, look at me, I speak too fast. But I'm just a straightforward person. If you ask me, I think it's a good thing you got divorced! This family is a real hellhole!"

Jiang Tong held the frightened Pei Pei and managed to exchange a few words with her old neighbor, but her mind was elsewhere.

Aunt Huang, however, seemed to have found someone to vent to, and she was incredibly gossipy. "That Wang Chungui, when you first got divorced, she was so arrogant, saying that her family would be better off without you. But not long after she found a new daughter-in-law, she started showing off, saying that her new daughter-in-law was a million times better than my daughter-in-law!"

The result was that the new daughter-in-law disliked her in-laws every day, and in the end, even her son was lured away by the new daughter-in-law, leaving the two old folks behind.

Aunt Huang grinned from ear to ear. She must have had a lot of disagreements with Wang Chungui. She used to look down on Jiang Tong because she always dressed very plainly. But now, she looked amazing. Not only was she glamorous, but her complexion was also much better. She had completely changed and Aunt Huang almost didn't recognize her.

"Good heavens, you seem to be living a pretty good life these days! Look at your watch, wow, it's worth fifty or sixty thousand! And is your bag genuine or a knock-off? The genuine one is worth over a hundred thousand! What are you doing now? How come you're so rich?"

The more Aunt Huang looked at Jiang Tong, the more surprised she became, and the more she liked her. Jiang Tong didn't have many accessories; she only wore earrings, a necklace, and a watch.

She couldn't help but touch the fabric of Jiang Tong's clothes, exclaiming in admiration, "Wow, the quality of your clothes is so good! Where did you buy them? And your necklace! Goodness, this necklace isn't cheap! I just saw it in a magazine! Good heavens, how come you're wearing something worth hundreds of thousands? Is it a fake? It doesn't look like it. I've seen so many pieces of jewelry, and this doesn't look like a fake!"

Aunt Huang is in her forties. Her family is well-off, and she loves to dress up. She pays great attention to clothing matching and health preservation. She has a lot of jewelry and loves to show it off downstairs in the community. As a result, she couldn't help but be shocked when she looked at Jiang Tong.

Jiang Tong remained calm on the surface. To avoid causing any trouble, she smiled and said, "No, no, they're all imitations, very cheap."
