Just then, Hanhan came out of the room in her school uniform. The little girl had grown into a graceful young woman with a somewhat aloof look in her eyes. As soon as she came out, she said to Zhou Jiaqi, "We lost the debate because we lacked experience. The teacher said that we just need to practice more. Why are you so discouraged? Aren't you stupid?"
Towards the end, her tone softened, becoming more reproachful, but she wasn't truly angry.
Zhou Jiaqi immediately bury his head in the sand like an ostrich, resting his head on Jiang Tong's shoulder and leaving Hanhan with only the back of his head, which made Hanhan laugh.
Peipei had obviously woken up early as well. The two sisters shared a room, and she was tidying up her school uniform when she came out and started mocking him, "How pathetic! It's no big deal. Aren't you ashamed to be acting like a baby with Mommy so early in the morning?"
Eleven-year-old Jiang Peici's eyes and eyebrows are very similar to her older sister Jiang Muhan, but because the two sisters have different personalities, they are not indistinguishable at all.
Peipei's eyebrows and eyes have a certain aggressiveness and she is more flamboyant. When she smiles, her mouth is wide open. It is said that she has many fans at school.
He has an exceptionally good rapport with people.
Hanhan has a cool and upright demeanor, which gives people a sense of distance and makes everyone quite afraid of her. Therefore, she has always served as the class monitor since she was a child. The vice class monitor is Peipei and Zhou Jiaqi, who take turns. Peipei is popular and easy to manage, while Zhou Jiaqi has a good temper and is trustworthy. They are a good match for Hanhan, and they are basically a very stable trio.
Upon hearing Peipei's words, Zhou Jiaqi instinctively started arguing with her, calling her annoying.
Peipei hasn't refuted him yet.
Hanhan said, "Stop fooling around, hurry up and wash up and get ready to go out."
They quieted down as soon as she mentioned it.
When Hanhan went into the restroom, she warned Zhou Jiaqi, "If you dare to sneak away, you're finished!"
Zhou Jiaqi obediently agreed, saying, "Oh..."
Jiang Tong and Zhou Yuansheng exchanged a glance and saw the smile in each other's eyes. These three guys... But seeing how close they were made them feel gratified. The meaning of siblings is that they can accompany, love, and support each other. After all, parents can't accompany them until they grow old, but siblings can.
What a commotion this morning.
Jiang Tong still made some breakfast for the three children. "Why don't you take it to school? Is it okay if I make sandwiches? Yuansheng, do you want some?"
The three kids haven't had a meal cooked by their mom in a long time because their clingy dad has been taking their mom with him every time he goes on a business trip these past two years, leaving the three of them to spend their days with homework.
As soon as Jiang Tong opened her mouth, the three kids immediately said they wanted some. Zhou Jiaqi swallowed hard and said, "Mommy, I want double the bacon." The two sisters in the bathroom, Peipei, also hurriedly said, "Mommy, I want two sausages!"
Zhou Yuansheng had already gone to the refrigerator to get the ingredients. He said with a smile, "I'm not picky. I'm fine with whatever I eat."
Jiang Tong chuckled and teased him, "So easy to feed, huh?" Then she raised her voice and asked Hanhan, "Hanhan, do you still want more vegetables and less meat? Do you want some ham? Mommy will give you an extra slice? Or maybe an egg?"
After washing her face, Hanhan came out and said in a soft voice, "Mommy, I don't want meat. Do you have mashed potatoes? I want to eat mashed potatoes."
Jiang Tong glanced at the time and realized there was still time. "Okay, I'll make you mashed potatoes. Your daddy likes them too. Don't take the bus by yourselves later, let your daddy take you. Hurry up."
The couple originally planned to send all three kids to an international school, but after discussing it, they decided to enroll them in a public school instead, hoping it would give them some experience.
They are not usually showy, and they often take the bus to and from school.
Can I go with my classmates?
They can also experience a different kind of life, and the three children don't dislike this kind of life.
I'm quite happy.
Jiang Tong spent some time making a loving breakfast for her husband and children. Zhou Yuansheng also went to wash up. After she finished making and packing the breakfasts, she saw the four of them, who were dressed neatly, out the door. "Did you bring an umbrella? It might rain today."
All three children said their schoolbags contained it.
Zhou Yuansheng turned around and kissed Jiang Tong's cheek, smiling as he said, "I have an umbrella in my car, don't worry, you should get some rest."
Jiang Tong smiled and agreed, saying she wouldn't feel at ease until she saw all four of them get on the elevator.
The three children smiled and said, "Bye-bye, Mommy!"
Jiang Tong smiled and said, "Bye-bye, I hope you three have a happy day. Jiaqi, don't think too much. If you have anything on your mind, you can talk to your sister and Daddy and Mommy."
Zhou Jiaqi was clearly no longer upset; he smiled and said okay, though he was a little embarrassed.
Peipei continued to criticize him: "Mouths are for speaking. Just say what you mean, who would dislike you? You're just putting on an act, making yourself sad. You're so bored..."
Zhou Jiaqi then retorted, "Do you think everyone is as carefree as you..."
Jiang Tong found it all amusing. Only after the elevator doors closed did she turn around and go back to do a thorough cleaning. She had been away on a business trip with Zhou Yuansheng for a few days, so she needed to tidy up the house and fix the plants on the balcony.
On the other side, Zhou Yuansheng also had to listen to the three kids' incessant chatter, but he was used to it. He even found it quite amusing to hear them talk about their teenage troubles.
After getting on the bus.
None of the three children wanted to sit in the front passenger seat; they all habitually squeezed into the back seat.
It's been like this since I was a child.
Hanhan sat in the middle, and Peipei and Zhou Jiaqi each occupied the left and right sides.
The three children's conversation ranged from Zhou Jiaqi's tantrum to discussing why they lost the debate, what classes they had that day, and what activities were coming up in a few days.
Halfway through the conversation, Hanhan suddenly remembered something and said to Zhou Yuansheng, "Daddy, our school sports meet is next Thursday and Friday! There's a performance on Friday, remember to come with Mommy."
