Chapter 134 A Deeply Twisted Fate

Mo Yunhan continued to stare at Jiang Qingwan, his voice indifferent.

"Bring it in."

"yes!"

Several guards quickly set out the dishes outside the screen.

Jiang Qingwan was a little anxious.

"Have we already returned to Beijing?"

She was exhausted when she came down the mountain last night, and fell asleep before she was halfway there.

Mo Yunhan explained.

“This is the camp of the Spirit Guard. There are no women in the army. I had someone go to the village at the foot of the mountain to find some clean clothes. You can make do with these for now.”

Seeing that she was still on Xuanling Mountain, Jiang Qingwan breathed a sigh of relief.

"After I finish eating, I'm going to visit Xuanling Mountain."

She took the clothes, swatted away the red fox who was still lazing on the bed, and lowered the bed curtains.

A graceful figure peeked out from behind the thin bed curtains. The red fox lay excitedly by the bedside, resting its large head on the edge and wagging its tail like a dog.

It bared its teeth in anger, intending to complain, but Mo Yunhan blocked its way, completely obscuring Jiang Qingwan's figure, and raised his hand to make a throat-slitting gesture with cold arrogance.

The red fox dropped its pitiful look, narrowed its big eyes, bared its teeth, and exuded a murderous aura.

The human and the fox faced off in silence, but the moment the bed curtains were lifted, they both returned to normal.

Wearing coarse linen clothes, Jiang Qingwan lost some of her delicate charm but gained more of a gentle and graceful woman's beauty, giving her a unique appeal.

Feeling the man's overly intense gaze, Jiang Qingwan tugged at her clothes uncomfortably.

"What are you looking at? Look again and I'll gouge your eyes out and feed them to Little Red."

Upon hearing this, the red fox shook its head frantically, full of anticipation, even sticking out its tongue.

Mo Yunhan sidestepped and pushed its large head aside.

His tall figure completely blocked the view.

He leaned down and whispered, his voice gentle yet tinged with a playful and indulgent tone.

"Your Highness is so beautiful, yet I'm not even allowed to glance at her? What kind of logic is that?"
