Chapter 167 You'd better take responsibility!

Qinghui still felt unhappy.

"You really can't kill him?"

Jiang Qingwan remained unmoved by the insults.

"Mo Yunhan is currently on his way to Qingfeng Village with Qin Minglang to suppress bandits. Do you think we can kill him?"

Qing Sui choked.

"Your Highness is wise; I was mistaken."

Jiang Qingwan waved her hand.

“There are many ways to kill him without anyone noticing, and it has nothing to do with being thorough or not. This is my ill-fated relationship, and it shouldn’t have involved Mo Yunhan.”

Without any further mishaps, the carriage soon came to a stop in front of the Luo residence.

The wooden barrel with the mechanism is still there, but in addition, there are two more mechanism boxes embedded in the door.

Even if you pass the puppet, knocking on the door will inevitably trigger the mechanism box.

Jiang Qingwan looked around the courtyard walls and, not seeing any other hidden mechanisms or boxes, pointed to the direction of the roof ridge.

"Qinghui, fly up and see if there's a child there. Ask if something's wrong. Don't land in the courtyard, lest you trigger some mechanism inside."

Qing Sui nodded, and with a light step, landed steadily in the direction Jiang Qingwan pointed out. Sure enough, she saw a child squatting on the ground playing with several very small mechanical puppets.

"Child, my princess is asking you, has something happened to Master Luo?"

The child didn't even lift his head.

"Whether you are a princess or a noble consort, your master is in seclusion and will not see anyone. You should go back."

Qinghui thought she hadn't explained herself clearly, so she added another sentence.

"The princess I'm referring to is..."

The child couldn't bear to look up.

"I told you, no matter who it is, Master won't see you. If you're not afraid of death, then go ahead and force your way in. Don't blame me for not warning you."

As he spoke, he picked up the small doll from the ground, stood up, shrugged, and walked under the eaves.

They acted as if to say, "Go ahead and barge in if you dare."

Qing Sui really didn't know how Mo Yunhan had introduced Jiang Qingwan to Luo Jiu. Knowing that the princess had arrived, why was he acting so arrogantly?

She leaped back to Jiang Qingwan's side.

"That boy said Master Luo is in seclusion and won't see anyone, so you can't either."

She was unsure whether she should offer some advice, lest it damage the relationship between the two.

Jiang Qingwan thought for a moment.

"I have other things to do, but since I'm here, I can't leave empty-handed."

She handed the blueprints and several banknotes to Qinghui.

"Leave it in the courtyard and have the boy take it to Luo Jiu. If it can be done within three days, the reward can be increased."

Qing Sui's gaze narrowed slightly.

"You still need to pay?"

Jiang Qingwan was stunned.

"Don't I need to pay? Why?"

She suddenly realized something, pointed at Luo Jiu's residence, and said somewhat resentfully, "This place also belongs to Mo Yunhan?"

With Puheng Money Shop in the past and Huailou in the future, it wouldn't be surprising to have another master mechanic, Luo Jiu.

Qinghui's expression was even more surprised than hers.

"You don't know?"

As far as she knew, Luo Jiu had long since withdrawn from the world and never forged mechanical weapons for others.

"Then why do you so readily seek out Master Luo to forge weapons? It's as if he'll automatically forge one for you just because you come here?"

Jiang Qingwan pointed to a small, fair finger and suddenly felt enlightened.

“Yes, tell him that if he can finish it within three days, the blueprints are his.”

As he spoke, he took the largest denomination note from the remaining banknotes.

"Just give him the cost of materials."

Qinghui looked at her speechlessly.

They didn't know your identity as a princess, yet you confidently believed they would make you weapons and even pay you less.

Is this appropriate?

Jiang Qingwan gestured for her to do so.

Qing Sui sighed helplessly, thinking to herself that she mustn't let Master Luo scold her out, otherwise it would be quite embarrassing when her identity was revealed in the future.

She landed on the roof ridge again, rolled up the drawing and the silver notes together, threw them in front of the boy, and delivered a message.

The child glanced at it but didn't even pick it up, completely ignoring it.

Qing Sui's eyes flickered, and she shot out a short arrow, slicing open the rope tied to the drawing.

Several sketches were immediately opened.

The boy glanced at it again, then immediately went over, ignoring the silver notes lying in the yard, and started looking at the drawing.

Qing Sui felt relieved. With such an ingenious design, Master Luo would surely grant her request.

Seeing that the matter was settled, she was about to urge the boy to go in and report.

The child screamed and rushed in without even knocking.

"Master, someone gave you this, it must be that..."

"I said I won't see anyone, not even the Heavenly King himself. No matter what you offer, I won't look at it. Get out, get out, make them all get out."

The roar was deafening.

Qing Sui stood awkwardly on the wall, looking at Jiang Qingwan.

For some unknown reason, Luo Jiu kept hurling insults.

Qing Sui felt that if she listened any longer, her kind-hearted princess might really take action, so she landed back on the ground and pulled Jiang Qingwan toward the carriage.

"Let's go first."

She explained as she walked.

"Master Luo may be in a bad mood. I'll come over again tonight to ask him."

She was already mentally calculating whether her savings would be enough to quell the matter.

Jiang Qingwan felt more and more that something was wrong.

Although she had only met Luo Jiu twice, he was not such a violent and volatile person.

She stopped Qinghui's actions and looked towards the entrance of the Luo residence.

"Disassemble the mechanism."

The mechanism on that door cannot be broken through from the front; once you try to get in, it will inevitably be destroyed.

That's why she made Qinghui jump off the roof.

Qinghui was greatly alarmed.

Oh no, they're really going to make their move.

Jiang Qingwan had already walked to the wooden barrel and was reaching out to dismantle it.

The door suddenly opened from the inside.
