Mu Zhen pointed at her, holding the black whip he had pulled from his waist.
"Tell me, did you move the corpse in my room?"
Her attitude made Yun Xiaoran's face turn cold instantly.
"Who do you think you are? How dare you swagger in front of me, the county magistrate? Are you tired of living?"
Mujin was not afraid at all.
They didn't give me the slightest bit of face.
“Princess Yun, times have changed. I’ve said it before, I’m not your servant. Now, in front of the Empress Dowager, I’m more useful than you. Don’t try to show off your princess status in front of me.”
Yun Xiaoran was speechless and didn't know how to refute.
Granny Li quickly interrupted.
"Is Wang Tiezhu's body still in your room? Hasn't it started to rot yet?"
Yun Xiaoran snorted coldly, her face full of disgust.
"That's disgusting."
Fengyazhu wasn't very big, and all the servants gathered in the front hall.
Mu Zhen went over and sniffed them one by one, but he couldn't smell the scent of the human gu.
"If it's not you, then who else could it be?"
One of the servants suddenly remembered something.
"Is it that fox?"
"What fox?" Mu Zhen asked immediately.
A calculating glint flashed in Yun Xiaoran's eyes.
"A red fox raised by Jiang Qingwan."
"Red fox?"
Muzhen suddenly remembered a few red hairs stuck to the edge of the jar.
Enraged, he lashed the whip onto the ground.
"How could a beast possibly break my talisman?"
Yun Xiaoran sneered.
“Beasts won’t do, but Jiang Qingwan will.”
"They've already discovered you, and they're still trying to take advantage of you. Mu Zhen, didn't you say you were very capable? If you're so capable, then fight back. If you get revenge, Fengyazhu will listen to you from now on."
Mu Zhen, however, was completely unmoved by this provocation.
She wasn't afraid of Jiang Qingwan, but she couldn't gauge Mo Yunhan's cultivation level.
In her eyes, Yun Xiaoran was a fool who couldn't judge people.
She can't even figure out who's better; all she does is get jealous and nitpick, focusing all her attention on competing with Jiang Qingwan for her affections.
Little did they know that the one truly in control was Mo Yunhan.
No wonder he was almost considered a pawn to be discarded in the eyes of the Empress Dowager.
She put away the whip without saying a word, then turned and walked towards the courtyard.
She needs to think of a way to capture Mo Yunhan and find out what's going on.
